After I pick up crankcase, skullgrin, armada starscream and point blank at the wkend I\'ll have all of the main releases except for the package refresh releases as I already have them, I also got seige Snapdragon, earthrise apeface, origins bumblebee, Jurassic park, X-Men, back to the future and Ghostbusters ecto-tron crossover\'s and just before getting legacy metroplex I was able to get a black Zarak in the wild.

It\'s been a good year collecting for me 2p22 has and I can\'t wait for evofusion

Had to crop a few off my preorders when TCP made clear they\'re dumping all of them on my lap over a month ahead of their estimates.
Pointblank and Hot Rod I plan to return to.  Skullgrin is a maybe, I can see him as brazenly edgelord, have to check reviews if the transformation is good.

I have to say Victory Saber kind of steals the show for this year. In saying that though, I somewhat don't count him as he is special.

I do agree Motormaster, Dragstrip and to a little lesser extent Dead End and Wildrider are in my top of the year.

It was a great year for Beast Wars too, TM2 Megs, Inferno and Tarantulus are all ace.

My top faves have to be the SSBB Cybertron scene figures, Legacy Tarantulas, Legacy Galvatron, and SS86 Ironhide. Otherwise I wasn't really feeling this year to be frank. I felt like Legacy has been a step down from Kingdom, and the stunticons aside from Motormaster and Drag Strip aren't that great. Here's hoping next year will be better!

Honestly, this was an off year for me. Haslab Victory Saber easily wins but the competition was fairly weak...to me at least. Jhiaxus is probably a nice runner-up.

If I'm only counting figures that were released this year, these would be my top five:

Victory Saber: A very fun figure with an amazing shelf presence. As someone with little to no attachment to the Victory show, I can't help but hum the Victory theme everytime I look at this set on the shelf.

Legacy Jhiaxus: A perfect representation of the character and a joy to handle. I was surprised by how solid this guy is, especially given how I was close to canceling my pre-order earlier in the year.

Legacy Motormaster: I definitely get the hype with this guy. I'm a bit of a Motormaster fan boy but even looking past my own bias this is a fantastic representation of the character and an overall fun toy.

Legacy Orion Pax and Alpha Trion: A great looking set using two Studio Series molds I enjoy. Headsculpts are spot on and overall these are the best iterations of the characters we will ever see.

Studio Series BB Soundwave: A solid figure of one of my favorite movieverse designs. The alt mode could have been better but the robot mode more than makes up for it.

I won't include it since it's technically a collaboration product but Lego Optimus Prime was a fun build that I'm amazed exists.

Not released this year, but I picked up a near mint figure, boxed (although box has seen better days) G1 Star Saber, complete, for $25 st a yard sale. (I did the right thing and went back and gave them some more money a few days later).    As well as a complete in box (in very good shape in this case) G1 Sky Lynx (in working order as far as electronics go) this year.

All over bets are off for me.

    So here's my list:

    10: WFC Nemesis Prime

I never had a Nemesis Prime in my collection so I searched around for one and ended up getting the Netflix version! By character alone he wins the #10 spot
    20221220_085112.jpg

    #9: Studio series Soundwave
I got this guy when I was really sick with Covid so he brightened up my day a lot, such a cool representation of the character on screen.
    20221220_085441.jpg

    #8: Velocitron Cosmos
It's a shame that this guy is so hard to get as he's one of the best figures out of that line, I hope that in 2022 Walmart starts putting out solid cases for him like they did in the U.K
    20221220_085618.jpg

    #7: Beast wars Reissue Cybershark
Man what a fun toy, I can't tell you how much fun I had with this figure when I first got it, dead easy to transform quickly and loaded with so much play features. I never was able to experience the original beast wars toys so cybershark really was a nice introduction
    20221220_085728.jpg

    #6: Legacy Armada Starscream
Glad to see my childhood Transformers series getting love again, This is a fantastic figure of one of my favorite incarnations of Starscream.
    20221220_085849.jpg

    #5: Animated Megatron
In memory of Derrick J. Wyatt, I decided that this year I was going to track down an Animated Megatron as I was never financially able to afford this toy growing up. I distinctly remember during Christmas I saved up enough money to get one but no store around me carried one or had it on sale.

Thankfully after several years I got this guy and he is just as good as I remembered.
    20221220_090043.jpg

    #4: Legacy Menasor
Menasor while he does have his problems, I still think is way better than the combiner wars version, He and all the stunticons are great, especially motormaster. I really hope that we get more combiners in this style, I'd really like a Bruticus or Defensor.
    20221220_090237.jpg

    #3: Legacy Transmetal 2 Megatron
This guy was a recent purchase of mine and he automatically made it onto the top 10 for me. He has such a presence in both modes that I can't help but stare at him. I always wanted more dragon transformers and this figure definitely scratches that itch.

    Yeessss..
    20221220_090504.jpg

    #2: Legacy Jhiaxus
Even though I don't have much of an attachment to Jhiaxus as much as others do, I still think he's a great figure and a good representation of the Big baddie of G2.
    20221220_090819.jpg

    #1: Haslab Victory Saber
My most Anticipated figure of the year. He's everything I ever wanted out of a Star Saber figure. He's one of my favorite Japanese characters and Hasbro really knocked it out of the park with him despite his QC issues, I know for a fact Deathsaurus is going to be on my top 10 list for 2023 so LET'S SAY GO!
    20221220_091058.jpg

Honorable Mentions go to G1 Cosmos and Menasor as 2 vintage figures I wanted since I was a kid!
