What is the advantage of doing it on Indiggo instead of Kickstarter?

Botcon is no longer the official transformers convention. It is now a fan convention and doesn’t get picked up here for information. This being affiliated with Botcon in some way is not a reason of it not getting picked for news. That said there is one repaint that is vaguely reminiscent of Starscream.

Gut feeling, it has less to do with Botcon in and of itself and more to do with Pete and that he's still affiliated with Botcon. I could be wrong though, there is a first time for everything:D

they are basically the same, it's just that I find Indiegogo has a lot of contributors/backers and I join there to make sure it succeeds in the funding.

TFCon is presented by the site sponsors. Just a thought, but draw your own conclusions.

Pete was just a vendor at Botcon. He no longer holds the reigns to the show. From what I saw, the show went pretty well and there was good turnout, and decent exclusives.

Pete is more than a vendor, he has his own "business" that Botcon uses. Long story short it has nothing to do with TFCon and everything to do with Pete burning bridges while with funpub. I'd put more than a few thousand down that if Pete, in no way shape or form, benefits from Botcon directly or indirectly you'd hear a whole lot more about Botcon on this site.

He goes to other conventions as well. I saw him at RetroCon outside Philly as well in Fall 2021. He has his BotCon books. He put great effort into making sure those BotCons were as great as they could be, I don't get the hate. But I don't want this thread to get off the rails.

There’s a lot of dumb things Pete did including a good amount of racist stuff. It’s been a long going story. Additionally there are other stories that many are unaware of that involved Pete burning bridges, as Bruticon said. I know of a few, but I imagine Bruticon knows more than I do by far. I do recall that one of the things that they did was nominating Seibertron as their initial official botcon coverage website. Which caused a good deal of umbridge. I actually had forgotten about that and wonder what bridges Botcon burned there in order for them to switch to the AllSpark for their official forum.

Well this certainly had a jump in the goal, as it's only $2800 away from being funded now.

A store must have made some orders.

Im thinking of backing this for both the comic and Stealth… but how is this project even viable?

It’s supposedly fully backed at just $25K?

Arent we always told in 3P land that the metal molds used for injection molding cost $100K?

So how are these figures going to be manufactured?

The comic itself will probably cost $7K to produce.

I'll give this a bump to remind people they have 40-ish hours left on indigogo and a week on kickstarter, with both reaching the minimum goal ATM.

I want to support and get both deco options but kinda need to start saving up for some other thingamabobs.

Hi guys been quiet for a while but we've crowdfunded 80k+ and the figure is in development over in China by Ramen Toy. Will be back with some news once we have an update from them.

Also you can still order the botcon exclusive over at Agabyss.

Any news I have I'll post on my FB fanpage sickofyou customs or Patrick at his FB Patrick Thomas Parnell, hit us up!

Yes, we are planning to do more, but first things first, meaning the seeker needs to be out and than we can plan ahead.
