So the design for Laserbeak in Prime is quite original, however do you like the design, to me it's okay.

I still think that after Laserbeaks last misfortune, Soundwave upgrades him to blend into the surroundings more (a.k.a bird form), but that will never happen.

What do you guys think, is it great, is it okay or do you not like this.

I like the design. It makes since with what he serves as. He's not a completely seperate transformer but soundwave's chest armor and support fire and survalience.Having hom become a bird wouldn't make since because he's pretty damn big as it is.

I love the abstract take on 'bird' and the fact Laserbeak looks like a part of Soundwave, to the point you wouldn't expect Soundwave to be "armed" at first.

Laserbeak does seem a bit more bat-like than bird or prey, though.

I love it but as far as I'm concerned it's actualy RATBAT and the show simply named it wrong.

    LOL That could be possible.

I like the design, it's like a combination of an origami bird and a pterodactyl. Very fitting for a robot who's mostly flat surfaces, but perhaps a little limiting because it'd mean his other minions that'd appear (Ravage, Rumble) wouldn't be too strong as warriors.

It's a nice interpretation of the character, I think. Not a separate character, per se, but an extension of Soundwave's will and observation.

Soundwave is the faceless monitor; makes sense his drone is equally, well, robotic.

You've never seen it in the show, watch triage and you'll see him, you do know it's the deployer that comes off SW's chest right? Or is this just a troll.

By the way, the theory you believe in is wrong, all those are not a direct continuity, just different ones using elemets from each other.

Wait never mind. I have seen him. I completely forgot he's in the series.

It's just ok. I'm pretty indifferent about it.

LaserBeaks robot form is more like a drone than a bird...Ironic really when you consider Soundwave turns into a drone in Prime.

I... like the design for what it is. I dislike it as Laserbeak, or really any separate unit from Soundwave.

It's a neat drone (... and bitchin' claw on the toy) but it's impossible to consider it a separate character.

I wish he would of kinda looked more like a bird, not exactly with actual feathers just a more or less resemblence to DOTM Laserbeak. Which is pointless I know, since Prime Laserbeak came out before DOTM Laserbeak. But meh, I'm cool with his current design.

    I don't like it.

I like the psycho buzzard from DOTM. If only Prime had done Laserbeak after DOTM.....:banghead:
