Laserback(I definitely read it as Laserbeak the first time), a Predacon also terrorizing the Autobots who will be in the Beast Hunters: Deluxe Scale toy line.

 

I think we saw pictures of him at NYCC. It is very easy to confuse his name with Laserbeak's.

It'll be all up to the character in the show to determine what I think of "Laserback", because his toy looks pretty ugly. Almost looks like it belongs in a different toyline or something.

 

At the NYCC panel, Global Brand Manager Jerry Jiovin drove home the fact that not everything seen at the panel would be on the show. It's possible Preadaking could be the only Predacon in the show. We don't know for sure, but it's safe to say that either Laserback or Twinstrike won't be in the show.

 

I would really like it if it had a more discernable bot head.

 

That much easier to decide not to buy the toy then.

I'm thinking Twinstrike - aka Sinnertwin - definitely isn't going to be on the show, he's a homage for long time fans like me. Laserback here though strikes me, if he were repainted with a gray and blue deco, as a possible homage to Rippersnapper, one of the other Terrorcons. Maybe it's just the shape and rocket launcher on his back...

 

He reminds me so much of RID Bruticus....which is NEVER a good thing to be reminded of

 

He strikes fear into people, so at least it kind of works in that respect.
