The closest to Bree I can think of is Jo Mullein from the Far Sector comic. They could have called her by her comic name though.
GREEN LANTERN HBO Max Series Character Breakdown Confirms Sinestro's Involvement "THAAL SINESTRO - The greatest of all the Green Lanterns, Sinestro is akin to a warrior monk, the personification of grace under pressure. He serves as the strategic commander for the Corps and all Lanterns follow his orders without question. Although he is revered for his unmatched willpower and wisdom, a darker destiny belies his otherwise Zen demeanor." No actor confirmed so far.
Finn Wittrock sounds like such a made-up name. Like a British spy in the Flintstones or a Hogwarts teacher or something.
GREEN LANTERN Finds Director In Lee Toland Krieger; Jeremy Irvine Confirms Alan Scott Role Lee Toland Krieger, who helmed the Superman and Lois pilot for The CW, has signed on to direct the first two episodes of the upcoming Green Lantern HBO Max series from Seth Grahame-Smith and Marc Guggenheim. Krieger has previously directed features such as Celeste & Jesse Forever and The Age of Adaline before moving to TV. In addition to Superman and Lois, he helmed the pilot and several episodes for Riverdale, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Prodigal Son, Shadow and Bone and Deadly Class. We recently heard that Jeremy Irvine was in talks to play Alan Scott in the '40s. The War Horse actor has since confirmed his casting via Instagram.
I just want a decent live-action Green Lantern project in general, but that’s too much to ask and will likely take forever.
In terms of her outfit, Lyssa usually gets a pass in a similar way classic Starfire and the Tamaraneans did, it's part of her species' society norms. Lyssa's based on the alien species Shadow Lass from The Legion of Super Heroes, who usually wore skimpy outfits as just being normal to her. On the other hand, that aspect can always be changed given writers and media, like how the Tamaraneans' aspect of casual sexuality and nudity got mostly dropped over time, especially when the Teen Titans cartoon version of Starfire became the more recognizable version to general audiences.

And on topic, to me, there should be no "Hal Jordan" movie or "John Stewart" movie. This will only work well as an ensemble Corps movie. 3-5 main protags.
Would he be back in that form? Last I remember of him, he used a bunch of science to "evolve" himself to looking like the normal Guardians for the extra powers that come naturally to modern day members of their species (Guardians with more normal blue human looking appearances like Krona are from a much more ancient time in the universe time-scale).
