    As I've said I've been customizing these guys because of the shipping error by Sir Toys, it's been a long and frustrating project but I think I'm mostly done. So let me give the rundown:

    Hook: Hook now has the crane part from the green set with the hook piece from the purple set. I also painted his mouth a bit since from a distance it looked like he had no mouth and had to scream and filled out his hollow arms with Miliput and left a hole large enough to plug the crane part into it for combined mode.

    Scavenger: coming from the green set Scavenger was surprisingly far more articulated than his purple counterpart who was a train wreck and a half. However he still had no elbow bend or swivel so I canalized two of my many extra Mix Masters to give him an elbow bend, I also painted his helmet black with a red visor and tried to paint up[ the rest of the body, which doesn't match the others sadly. I also have him the legs and chest piece of his purple counterpart. Oddly he's the only one in any of the sets that I've seen with a ball jointed head, giving him the most head articulation of anyone..

    Bonecrusher: Bonecrusher is a sad excuse for a Transformer even by knock off standards. It's like the purple set gave up on the arms orf just spent their budget on the rest of the bots and just put out what they could cheaply. I drilled some larger holes in his legs in order to port the better green guy's scooping parts, used my second hook to give him an elbow bend and arm swivel which I did after this was taken. Now he's at least respectable, well as respectable as a Decepticon can be.

    Longhaul: Poor Longhaul always wants to show just how smart he is, but sadly as a dump truck he usually ends up carrying things to or from various places. This one is a bit of a Frankenstein of the green and purple versions with Miliput filling out his hollow head, the only one I could do it with at the moment, his arms are a combination of both the green and purple sets but sadly I seem to have made one slightly longer than the other. Something I will have to rectify after I get funds for more supplies. His hips get about three clicks outward on a rather nice ratchet joint so good on them. But at least his arms now face the right way in all modes now.

    Mix Master: The insane chemist of the group didn't need much work, however I did give him the legs from the green set and adapted the drum from that set as well so now he has one that spins. In spite of lacking the waist joint of the green version I'd say this guy needs a serious talk with his agent.

    Scrapper: Scrapper's main advantage from his green counterpart is his head can get out of the way for truck and combined mode, while you can still see it at least it attempts to hide. Also the face sculpt on him is better since the green version looks like he's been through Cybertronian Vietnam. I swapped out the two's power legs after putting in a bit of time and effort as well as the back of the truck which has a ratchet joint for the combined mode knee, something I wish Mix Master had.

    More pics coming soon, please be gentle, I have limited time and resources. Any constructive {no pun intended} criticism is appreciated.

    Look really good, I'm just wondering if it's worth the effort when the actual Hercules is pretty affordable nowdays? Just thinking your time and skill would be better spent on the official figures.

    $300 is affordable?! When these guys were $60?! Not counting the extra figures I got by mistake, but if you got a few junker bots laying around and don't want to spend or have $300 to spend then yes they are indeed worth the effort. And in spite of the blood, sweat and tears I enjoyed this project.

    Where did you get 300$ from? Brand new they are 200 at bbts. Used on ebay I've seen them go under 150$ regularly. Anyways it was just a suggestion.

    One went for $96 shipped complete with the rage of Hercules set on ebay the other day. That's probably the lowest I've seen, but I don't look very often. I bought mine back when CW wars Devastator released for $215 and subsequently sold my CW one.

    Filled up the heads of the Constructicons and applied a nice coat of glossy black paint on them and some other parts. I’ll post photos later on but for now I give you a semi articulates CW hand.

    I achieved this by knocking out the pin and carefully using a box cutter to detach each finger from the block. Then I carefully threatened the pin back into the base while putting each finger on in the order of where they were before. If you want a more articulated hand but don’t want to play the price for the PE parts then this is at least a good temporary solution.

    Still need a proper green and purple paint colors but no more hollow heads and less white spot. The combiner knee on Mix Master has also been upgraded to a ratchet joint

    I added a ball joint to the combine mode head and neck, now look at some pretty nice articulation that looks very natural. {Well as natural as a combining robot can be.}
