In Pt. 1 we take a look at Screecher. This one addresses some of the Q.C. issues that people have complained about as well as hidden/special features, the comic, and a proper transformation without endangering any pieces of breaking. Great review, especially the bit with the shouryuken (which I've been too nervous to assemble on mine). You really do show off the beauty of this guy. I did cringe a lot, though; you handle your Screecher far, far more roughly than I ever did (albeit with no adverse results), in the poseability demo segment. Also, at 21:43 and 22:12 of the video, where your thumb is on the thigh piece? That's EXACTLY what I did on mine, and that's all it took. No undue force, no bizarre gyrations. Just the lightest of presses when working with the one leg that's causing a problem. Snap. I'm no oaf. By trade, I'm very, very used to handling small, intricate devices with surgical precision; my sample was simply a case of poor construction and QC. P.S. - Additional sincere thanks, though, for making the video; I can use it to illustrate to MMC precisely what I was doing when the piece broke. Again, thank goodness for your video skills! P.P.S. - Also, don't know if you mentioned it elsewhere, but the main wings have three positions, folded in, halfway out, and fully extended. In most pictures I've seen, people seem to be folding out the wings only halfway. The wings actually extend far enough out to reveal another red paint app along the inner edge of the wing. Edit - And to be perfectly fair, MMC's customer service response was fast. Like, between the time I linked them the video at 5:30 and now, at 6:10. So, it's all taken care of, and according to them, it was indeed a one-time QC issue, and the pieces are supposed to be firmly attached.
