    KSI wasn't meant to have a "boss" as far as a "robot" and a "vehicle mode" is concerned. They were meant to be piloted by the user, and in some cases, auto drones.

    There would be minimal AI involved, most likely something along the lines of Asimov's 3 laws.

    This doesn't change the fact that they weren't meant to be anything but other than drones until Galvatron got a hold of them.

    We saw the alt modes before they all transformed anyway, after they were "infected." So I don't understand the point of the question to begin with.

    The KSI Boss was Galvatron, I think, and we saw his alternate mode already.

    Honestly I don't think he had a alt mode. He was just a generic KSI bot imo.

    Pretty much this, the way the KSI bots transformed used a Transformation method that did not require vehicle parts to be shown - as such the alt-mode could be anything or nothing.
