Heres my WIP on a KREO class of 86, see if you can have a guess at the characters. Working on painting at the minute but nearly finished, once that’s over I’ll look into printing decals for the set (I’ll have to make the combiner and citybot ones) and then look into making packaging. If a character isn’t shown here it’s likely because I’ll be using an official kreon such as Rodimus, Galvatron, scourge, cyclonus etc

If you’re wondering why a certain trio is present they were released via mail order in 86 and were absent from previous box sets. Another character is present due to his notable absence also

Nice work, can’t wait to see where this goes.

I’d suggest the Bumblebee Helmet for Menasor however.

He’s got goggles at the minute, going with a quirky take on him. As time goes on I’ll continue to upgrade a few of them so that’s a look I’ll consider for sure

Finally making some progress on these, sizing is done so all I need to do is finish importing pics across and print onto decal paper IMG_20200325_154514.jpg

Hopefully will get the decals printed over the next couple of days, meanwhile I've done a couple of bits.

Rewind and eject from shapeways painted.

Decals printed, taking ages to dry though. Glad I did two lots as some of the ink has smudged.

Edit finally dry, using a hairdryer definitely helps

Decals were an absolute write off, ink is washing off and the decals themselves are too delicate and are curling/falling apart. Ordered another brand and some sticker paper just in case that doesn't work.

Are you using an inkjet printer? If so, make sure the decal paper is designed for that. You'll also need to seal the decals with a spray. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Krylon-K01303A07-Crystal-Acrylic-Coating/dp/B001K65K26

Yep did all that, bought inkjet decal paper, left to dry for 3 hours, used a hairdryer to make sure and sealed with clear coat.

Bought from ebay and looking at the packaging I suspect the decal paper was originally from China so just a case of poor quality product I reckon. Ordered some replacement paper from a seller recommended by a freind.

I see. I've only ever printed decals with a laser printer, so I'm not sure what might be going wrong. Hopefully, it works out better for you next time!

Finally making progress, it's so easy to mess up with decals though. Glad I did a spare set, I also found the ink runs without a ton of clear coat.

Woh those look really good. They cling to the plastic surface really well.
