I know we were already aware of the ripclaw set, but I don't remember seeing anything about Daniel Witwicky being a character in Kre-O, especially by name. Pretty sure this detail is new.

Probably like you say though, an arbitrary name toss. It would be very nice though if this led to proper Kreon Minifigures of the humans!

Can't explain why, but I'm all for it. Maybe it's the fact that they go for such semi-obscure homages.

 

they can call the humans whatever they want, still doesn't make them more desirable. they still look like all the other boring nameless human kreons.

 

Kicker IS shown on the battle blade Prime's box. look at Prime's feet. Kicker actually looks good. The helmet doesnt have a visor apparently but it still looks fairly close to his "henshin" from Superlink/Energon.

 

I like how Ripclaw is made of fucking lego blocks and still looks cooler than 99% of Transformers in the franchise.

 

I was actually kind of hopeing he would be Hi-Q do to the powermaster nod that Optimus Prime has in its Animated Season 4 powermaster Homage.

But a step in the right direction? I like to think so! Also Kicker, as someone previously mentioned, does bare a resemblance to his Energon outfit.
