At this point I chalk this up to being rumor as I have yet to confirm this. Some anonymous user has posted 2 additional waves of Micro-Changers that include Dinobots, Headmasters, Beast Wars, Trainbots, plus a new Kre-O Combiner in the form of Raiden. I do not know who this was, but I need to find the source for this information. If said anonymous user happens to be a member of this group, please speak up and tell us the source of the information so that we may confirm this and not spread disinformation.

wiki's aren't generally the best place for news.

I reference Trailbreaker/Trailcutter. I believe building blocks and action figures trademarks are in different categories if I'm not mistaken.

 

No way it's real. They would never have that much cohesion in a single wave (four Dinobots in Wave 7 and Triple Changers and Headmasters in Wave 8). One of the best and most persistent things about the Micro-Changers is that the lineups usually make no sense.

It would be pretty rad if I was wrong, though.

 

if it was news, we would already know about it first. not from some random wiki. even the tfwiki doesn't have listings before the message and news boards do.

its not even a rumor, its just some guy who very likely put up a fake listing. even without proof, it should be treated as such.

 

Just because TFW2005 is one of the largest transformers sites does not always mean that they going to be the very first to get the news every single time, that just isn't realistic. As far as being a random wiki, I'm afraid the Kre-O wiki is far from random, it is based specifically on Kre-O. Whether or not the TFWiki has news listings is irrelevant here. As far as this not being a rumor, what exactly would you classify as a rumor? Unless something is proven it is generally considered to be a rumor, which is precisely why I am treating it as such, and am seeking out the source of the information so that I can either prove or disprove said rumor.

 

Have any of the "new combiners" shown up in other series, whether fiction or toy? We know Grimstone as the Dinopope, just curious if the others had previous releases as well. Saw Lazerbolt and Obsidian today at TRU

I think the list is real. Non of the names on that list have been made into Kre-o's before and some of the names on the list make a lot of since and I would be expecting them to make in the near future. Suiken and Getsuei would/could be the 5th and 6th member to Raiden. Decepticon Runabout, Decepticon Pounce are totally expected and I can't wait to see what a Cosmos and a BW Silverbolt will look like.

 

Trying not to get my hopes up, but sounds cool on the off chance it's real.

 

To me, this sounds like a mix of wishful thinking / the kind of vandalism that causes false rumors to get started. Anyone remember that Transformers Prime episode, "One Bot, Two Bot, Red Bot, Blue Bot"? Seems like the same issue to me.

At any rate, our news and rumors forum is for the reporting of news and rumors - not for reaching out to people to confirm if something posted on your wiki is genuine or not.
