Hey guys, I've got a box of Kreons I'm looking to sell to anyone who's interested. I'll be sure to post in the Kreon marketplace in a bit, but I had wanted to ask what seems like a fair price for these guys? I'd hate to over-price since I know they're all micro-changers and none are in their original baggies, but I couldn't get a good feel for how much in general I should offer for these guys. Any help is appreciated, and I'll keep doing my research in the meantime too!  

 

So, you're saying I shouldn't be ignoring all those frantic e-mails from Photobucket? I tried to get the pics from my Photobucket account, but their UI is terrible and bogs down my (admitedly old) PC. I might have them on an old hard drive somewhere. It'll probably be easier to just retake them, though. Maybe I'll give that a shot when the weather gets too bad to go outside.

When I bought the Wheeljack/Knock-Out set, all the kreons were gone. I called Hasbro customer service, and they sent me all 4. It's probably too late for you, though. You might be able to find a Battle Changer Shockwave at a Family Dollar or Dollar General, and build a regular Kreon out of the parts.

Never seeing Ectotron in maybe a dozen Gamestops has been kind of annoying. Seeing other Ghostbusters merch piled up has raised the level to definitely annoying. Seeing Ectotron T-shirts has made it very annoying. I made a Kreon, since that's probably as close to a non-T-shirt Ectotron I'll ever get.
He's got a little stand so the cable doesn't get bent, and the weight of the proton pack doesn't cause him to topple over. The proton pack, blaster, and trap are copied from the LEGO Ideas Ghostbusters kit, though I didn't have a yellow grid for the trap.

 

Has anyone figured out a way to add Grimlock's "wings" to his Kreon?

 

I have an official Grimlock from the big set, but also a custom Grimlock (which I like more) that I added his ‘wings’ to. I used Nightbeat’s [Punch] body, Silver Knights Crosshairs’ legs (and arms), Jarugar’s head, and a Nexo Knight sword.

And here’s what I did to attach the ‘wings’:

Ah, the backpack pieces I’m using are all fake lego. Not sure if Kre-O even has little ‘wing’ pieces like that.

Just thought I'd show how far the Kre-O Battle Changer Collection is coming along. These are...all the Battle Changers and Transformable Micro-Changers that's I've amassed so far.




You guys think I may be going too far?

By the way, ignore the weird piece of paper to the left saying stuff like "Stop stuttering" or "don't be sexist". Those are just notes I made for myself to edit a documentary, and I kept the list comedic.

 

Very cool! And really, is there such a thing as too far when it comes to more kre-o/lego/other bricks? Personally speaking, I hope not!

 

Found these at Five Below the other day. Bought them for my son's birthday (he loves the robot modes).

Thought they might be useful for adding to combiners like Devastator or Defensor.

BATTLE CHANGER PROJECT STATUS UPDATE:
Just got my Micro-Changer of Lugnut today, so once I get another Shockwave, I can get to work on a Lugnut Battle Changer.

In other news, I got robbed of a chance to begin work on the Hot Rod Battle Changer when a conveniently low-priced BC Bumblebee was sold to someone else. I got Waspinator, thus completing my main roster of Predacons, so now I have to finish working on the Maximals, such as Rattrap, Depth Charge, and maybe Airazor or Silverbolt. Other Predacons that I might consider getting include Rampage or Quickstrike. Furthermore, I finished painting the head to a Battle Changer of Sentinel Prime, so now all I need is the proper BC and the right parts; I'd say I'd need a BC Grimlock to get to work on Sentinel. Other plans for the future is that I've been trying to see if I can make a BC of Octane/Fuselage, just to complete the set of Triple Changers. I'm also getting ready to finish up the Autobot Roster with Windblade, which will definitely be a great way to finish the Autobots.

- Make/Buy Devastator

Then I got to the last photo, saw the wording on the instructions and the clearly bootleg baggies the pieces came in and I'm waiting for your troll face.

 

In other news, another update on the BC project. I got my hands on the RID Size-Up Custom figures for Sideswipe. So, when I began looking at the pieces in intricate depth, I decided to make something cool of it.

Get ready for a BC of the most popular female Transformer of today!
So excited to be making her, btw. I only have six Battle Changers of Female Transformers, and I'd like that to change. So this should be a welcome addition.
The head will be the hardest part, though. Tresob is giving me a custom helmet, but I'm not sure what I can do to make her face. I've thought about getting another Arcee head, but I'm not quite sure because of its cost. Is anyone willing to trade their Arcee head for something?
