I'm not a big fan of the TFCC in the least, but if Kre-O is officially done at retail I would have no problem with the club doing a set that contained Blurr, Ultra Magnus, Blaster, Wreck-Gar and Unicron just to fill the very gaping Series 3 holes.

That set would definitely be a guaranteed sellout, I think.

Thanks! :)  And your wait shan't be long -- here you go:

To save bit on vertical space, I'm going to start posting the combiner teams in a group shot. Hook and Bonecrusher have their stick helmets, but the rest are customs courtesy of Tresob, of course!

Those are some nice helmets. I'm debating getting a bunch of those hinged little display boxes for lego like figures, but it's pretty expensive to buy enough for all the waves plus the recent "true" blind packs.

This is why I am working on a brick-built diorama of The Ark & part of Cybertron. I am thinking of making it 2 levels, with an Earth-scene as well. I have the space, and the dinos, etc make more sense on Earth. Plus I can use some duplicate figures that way.

Sounds neat! But most of my legos and other bricks from childhood are scattered and definitely don't have enough orange or grey pieces for the something like the ark or other. May have to borrow the SDCC Diorama that came with the AoE Dinobots set.

Yup, I've done this with my Lego Deathstar. From a distance it looks Cybertron like and then up close it is made out of a few of my favourite comic set pieces: Smelting pool, Megtron Origin fighting pit, Galvatron vs the Seacons, an Ark bridge from the G1 cartoon. I'm working on the top layer at the moment: Metroplex, Fire in the Sky, Straxus spacebridge portal and Ratchet's medibay. It's 4 layers and yet there is nowhere near enough room for all the Kreons which means I guess a Lost Light build is next.

Has anyone seen the second movie wave yet? I'm waiting for them to hit NY. Are they truly blind bagged?

So as an aside and personal note, all my TF kre-o sit next to me on one of those 32x32 peg plates from lego, and it's kind of satisfying to look over at them when I'm chilling out in bed. Then I realized that sunstreaker has a slightly movie-verse look to his chest decal and I have to admit to a little bit of disappointment that it was the case.

So I had to pimp my shockwave as we was looking very "stock". I gave him a leg and hip swap, legs from one of the insecticons, hips from o e of the generic decepticons from the cliff jumper chase set.
I also swapped his black gun hand for a clear/purple gun hand, Im still not happy with the gun but it resembles the G1 toy/cartoon a bit better now.

If you're gunna steal them just keep in mind they use a combination of Kre-O and LEGO. Kre-O doesn't have the 1x1 brick with two side studs, for example. (At least I don't think it does), and they don't have the 1x1 circular tile piece.

Plus their 1x4 hinge plates suck -- no friction. the LEGO ones are way better for the wings on his back.

    --Andrew S.
(On the other hand, I love Kre-O hinge pieces as heel spurs.)

EDIT: I went through, and there is a Kre-O 1x1 brick with two side studs. I could only find it in black -- but it might appear in white in some mini-figures or in non-TF sets.)

Have you tried a grey 1x1 cone piece over Shockwave's forearm?
