I have 189 Minifigures and 13 Combiners of Kre-O Transformers.
In total I counted 226 Minifigures.
I plan to be there Saturday.
Will have to do.
So AoE Kre-o Dinobots...have no robot mode? Is this true? I'm not seeing any...
Forgive the horrendous quality of the photo, had to use the laptop's camera, but another attempt at Laserbeak (a rather literal one this time):
Cheated by using a Lego part, a ray gun which has posts on the sides, as the base. Kre-O handle bits + little winglets on each side, and one of the small vented slopes serves as the head. A tad heavy to wield, but I like it a lot more than my previous attempt.
That's nearly the same build I've been trying. But I can't find a Kre-O part as good as the LEGO ray gun you're using.
I used double-sided clips and a night stick piece if people are wondering about the hard to see parts on mine.
Ratchet recommends part ID number K100770, though not this specific one. He swears emphatically that he needs it.
I dunno how many sets it is actually in, this one came from the Autobot Command Center. I used it to make my Ravage.
Thanks, man! I feel like I could make a damned good Iguanas if I had one of those helms in a deep red or purple.
That part also comes with Micro-Changer Galvatron.
Now if only someone could help me find the part that's behind that part under the cannon in the same color.
Nope, they're just very ugly dinosaurs.
I have Custom Drift and the Kre-O Slug set and I don't know which one to open. I have no interest in Slug, but I want the Vehicon and prefer the blue Drift, but then again I love the chrome helmet and extra weapons of the custom...
Uh... I have four of them
I was more wondering if they exist in that color beyond the Galvatron Kreon. I looked through the manuals and instructions and it's really amazing that I couldn't find this in light gray, such a common color.
Don't know if he'll see this but I want to thank Moroni Prime for the Kre-O Wikia. I really appreciate him/her taking the time to scan so many of these instruction books (Starscream's not done by the way). It really helped me in finding the location of specific pieces for customs.
With the poor reception of the Kre-O Encyclopedia, this Wikia really should be the definitive place for Kre-O information. Only thing we're missing is official bios which I'd prefer the original people to write for their randomness.
Awesome piece suggestion Strafe. I went and built a Laserbeak with it -- he ended up a bit bigger than I'd like though, since I want one small enough to interact directly with Kreons.
I also built another one using those red gun handle pieces Noideaforaname used.
My vote is for custom Drift:
Hmm, yeah a piece three segments long is actually a bit on the lengthy side.
Still, I really like how you used it, there. I'll have to try my own hand held Laserbeak, my first one was gigantic.
We just need scanlations of the Kre-O comics! I'm so sad the Encyclopedia skipped them.
It's an egyptian hood from some LEGO explorers set, and a LEGO Bane face.
Less crappy angle with better lighting tomorrow. Still pretty big, but at least Soundwave can hold this one.
With ball joints from the new Kre-O Dinobots, it's entirely doable with Kre-O pieces. (apart from the beak)
From the sound of it almost no work at all went into that book. It was just whatever photos they were given, the bios and whatever, editted into a single volume.
It's unfortunate. I'd love for IDW or someone to do a Kre-O comic or something like that.
Speaking of in-scale kreons, here is my ROTF Jetfire.I'll have some more photos of his other forms later.
You should really check the book out first, I don't think it's as bad as others have said and the exclusive figure is just icing on the cake. The book is not perfect but I'd say it just as useful as the Generations books are to TF collecting.
Linkey no workey.
