Kotobukiya's D Style TF line teaser?

Looks like Kotobukiya has gotten the Transformers license. Found this image on 2chan. Looks like it may be a line of vinyl or pvc figurines.

It's a model kit, all of their D-Style stuff is. It'll be awesome. Yeah, they're articulated like figures.

Definitely interested to see how this progresses :D  It'd be nice to get a few more slightly less-obvious choices additions as well, but even just Optimus/Convoy will likely be nifty~

Thanks for the info! Didn't know about their D Style series.

I only got into it recently. My love of RiD got me into GaoGaiGar, which they do D-Style releases for. They could do a lot of cool stuff with this line if they wanted, the GGG ones have removeable armor. :D

I would also suspect a good chance of it having an alt mode.

Yeah I think it's possible, it's not uncommon for a model kit to have a limit amount of transforming. So I could see Koto making this a proper transformer.

I have all the D-Style GaoGaiGar kits they have released so far. They're nice but a bit on the small side. The GGG kits all transform or merge into their various form (even if there is some parts-forming) so I would expect the same from the Optimus Prime kit.

I say that because D-Style tends to do that. I have all of the braves, and they all transform and combine. They do swap out parts, to do it, though.
