Like, literally, if otakus really wanted stuff like these, they could just buy one of these dress-up anime dolls and put clothes marginally resembling the Transformer in question on them.
I hate to say it, but even the fan-art I sometimes found on Deviantart when looking for certain TF characters was more unique then these, there they usually put armor on these gals that resembled the chassis of the Transformer in question. Not just clothing that had the same color...
I mean on this one, other than the hoodie with the weird goggles and horns, and the mirrors on her shoes, there are very little elements on her clothing that make me think Bumblebee.

I don't think AJP has listed it yet, but I'm pretty sure they do sell them to the US.

As for AmiAmi shipping, they have a bunch of options including EMS and DHL. As an example, the Bishoujo Optimus that just went in stock cost me 4162 yen ($31.94 USD) to ship via DHL.

Why the vitriol? Besides, otaku is just Japanese for geek, so everyone on this website (including yourself) falls squarely into that category. We are all Transformer otaku here.

Having said that, what a fantastic looking statue! Love the blue undershirt evoking the chest windows.

Thereabouts. As a comparison, Sideshow has Bumblebee up for preorder at $150 before shipping, and scheduled for a September-November release (compared to AmiAmi stating August).

Oh, oh no. This is bad, very bad.

    ...

She's so cute! I want this statue. I was hoping I'd be strong enough to only get Optimus and Megatron... but no. Why is Bumblegal so adorable and cute?! I need her! I need the entire fucking line, now!

Does anyone here collect anime figures? If Kotobukiya was a third party company, would it be Fanstoys, XTB, MMC, or something else? What’s the build quality and resale value of these things? I’m super tempted to devote a shelf to Transformers waifus, but I’ve never purchase one of these figures before.

Something else. More like 3A, because these are produced under an official license.

The construction is decently durable. The PVC that they're cast in is a little bit flexible, so they can usually take some mild hits. But they're also usually heavily painted, so abuse may cause some paint chipping. More dynamically posed figurines might also have more distinct weak points, like if they're posed up on one leg or something, so all the weight is supported by a single ankle (most figurines in that style will embed a steel rod in the load-bearing leg, but this isn't always the case. Koto's usually good about that, though). Take note of any fine detail areas. They'll often be sculpted with delicate, loose details, like loose locks of hair. Bumblebee's long belt tail will be something to look for.

Resale value is entirely character and production dependent. Some merely retain MSRP value for several years, others practically double in value the moment they're released. Most figurine production is done by made-to-order numbers, so there's not many available after release date for popular product. Certain companies have better reputations than others, which also contributes to resale value.

Aw that's a real cute design! Also incorporates all his design elements in great, creative ways. Not for me ultimately but I appreciate the craftmanship!
