Demo tomorrow?! Woohoo!
Looks like I'll be switching on the 360 after breakfast tomorrow.
that was me who asked if we could use the drones in multiplayer and he never answered the question!!!
Awesome. Didn't expect the demo to be released this week. Looks like I'll be on Live most of tomorrow.
I'll be working while you do this. I'll envy you, but only for eight hours.
This is completely unfair that PS3 users are not getting a demo...how lame is that.
I find it hard to believe that making demo for the XBOX 360 was any easier than developing the game across three platforms.
War For Cybertron ships in 13 days and will be released simultaneously on several different systems, three of which High Moon Studios is responsible for. How in the hell is it harder to make a demo of a completed product? Laziness? Money changing hands? I’m more inclined to believe that than what you suggest; however, if you have an actual source stating such (as well as those confirming your previous answers), kindly point me to it.
Thanks for that
Is this pretty much it? Not a lot of answers there...
C'mon, it's not so bad. You have a blu-ray player. I heard It's Complicated is pretty good.
I agree that it's probably moneys changing hands, but we're about to get the potentially ultimate Transformers game, so we should all be Happy-Go-Pukie about it. We're all going to be playing this in 2 weeks!
That's just silly.
You really need to calm over this. You seem to be getting increasingly bitter over this, and not really adding anything to thread but spite and wild speculation.
Like you say, it'll be shipped in 13 days. That's not too bad is it?
Man I'm sad. Can you kind souls put the vids on YouTube when you get it? I don't know why this isn't coming to PSN. It would get more people interested.
At least you guys are getting the preorder character, in the UK the only one we know of is Demolisher.
Getting that demo tomorrow though, shame they couldn't have released the first level of gameplay but that's no biggie.
I am calm. I just want the source confirming what the previous poster stated as fact. Is that too much to ask for?
I'm not interested in answers pulled out of someone's ass on the fly.
You guys realize that's not how development works right? They had to have a team cut things from the game, make it work from those cuts, get the demo approved to be functional, find an outlet to release the demo, and abide by those guidelines. Live happened to have servers that the developers can use without having to buy or host their own so that's probably why they went it them.
It costs money and time. Something that at the end of a development cycle is seriously important.
I'll be getting this tomorrow. I'll hop on PSN that evening and if you want to start a chat, I'll tell you about it.
Well.. I don't know if you can blame the creators for it..
First off.. Isn't WFC's creation team associated with Activision? I'd blame them first.
Lets historically look at Activision's Xbox vs PS3 interactions..
We've seen a few exclusive Call of Duty upgrades for Xbox that ps3 never got.
Marvel Ultimate alliance - x-box got the upgrades to the original game giving them exclusive content that ps3 didn't get..
I'm guessing there's a pretty big likely hood that activision has some ties with microsoft spoon feeding them some side money for some exclusives, which mandates their companies to develop things for a certain system and not the others.
It's sad that not everybody is going to get a chance to experience this before it comes out, but I certainly know that hasn't changed my decision on pre-ordering for my ps3..
While I agree with you that it would get more people interested, i'm thinking the transformers name alone will draw many people in.. And I'm sure we'll see a delayed "demo" release for ps3 after the game is out that should snag those who didn't pick it up at release date..
Because activision will make just as money off of someone who picked up the game a month after the release date as they do off the person who pre-ordered 3 months ago.
Probably being the operative word there—still not an official source. I can make my own guesses too.
Anyway the interview is over, and I was wondering if someone was able to get an answer out of Matt, but it looks as though the answer is a big NO
now I know that the demo is a multiplayer demo but what if you want to try it out by yourself, can you or do you have to have other people join? I want to see what it's like
PS3 gets screwed out of everything.
Probably not, unless you are able to start a private room. That said, I'm hoping I can meet up with some of you guys tomorrow. I know some of you guys are on my friend's list, but if not, my Live Tag is WindchargerTFW
