Hey I appreciate all the info. I have also been waiting on them and had some interest in MT Meteor. Then I had the opportunity for the TRU Starscream so I went that route. So, now I try to get the rest of the seekers to match. Ah this addiction I call a hobby. 

 

Yes Model/BB7 definitely has the superior build quality.

 

everytime this thread gets bumped my heart skips a beat hoping its hot link updates   probably about 100 posts of me hoping for updates in this thread  

 

Same. I’m done with seekers.... but will capitulate if YM/BB7 do the pretty purple one!

 

Still hoping we get YM Starscream in MP-11 colors.

whats the cheapest you could realistically expect to get any of the MP11 KO's for on eBay? there seems to some loads of very cheaper/cheap ones listed at the moment, some with clearly murky feedback and some with less dodgy looking!? TIA

 

$80-$85 at the cheapest. Some of the discount overseas retailers like Show.Z are a good benchmark. They may not be the cheapest, but they're not going to be $20 more than the best legit ebay deal. As usual, use the seller check thread in the ebay forum, and be skeptical of any deal that looks really good unless the seller has several thousand positive feedback, and even then cross-reference it with the seller feedback thread.

It depends on who which KO seeker you're looking for. I just ran a search for YM03, panel lined Yes Model MP11 Starscream KO. None of the reputable Ebay sellers I usually buy from have it listed....just unknown sellers with marked up shipping fees and spotty history. I'll be looking at retailers like ShowZ, tf-direct, unclebillyshop for any future Yes Model KO seekers.

Showzstore.com is taking preorders for a late March 2018 reissue of YM03 Yes Model Starscream (panel lined). I wonder if this reissue will have any paint app changes like YM reissue Skywarp. I'll wait and see what this ends up looking like......fingers still crossed for Takara MP11 Coronation deco. @Bots and Bits do you have any details about this reissue?

TF-Direct has Hotlink and Bitstream (and Nacelle) pre-orders, but it's been a while since any news of them. I saw a Hotlink custom on eBay a while back with a flamethrower accessory, but otherwise nadda!

 

Which is the best to get at this point? Yes? KBB? Other?

That's the directon I was pointed and I have Skywarp and Thundercracker on the way. I've reading a lot and listening to everyone's comments I think yes model was the right choice. I should have them soon.

 

Well, yes model does look good. But does anyone know how yes model stacks up to Howling Meteor? Looking to replace my star scream, and add Skywarp and Thundercracker. But want similar bot styles

 

Would you post whether they have the new paint details when you get them or whether they are the older versions without the extra details? Would be appreciated as I'm looking for a seller who has the old ones.
