Well both DF Megs and MPM KO heights can be adjusted manipulating foot and leg joints so i am happy with this scale. I never accepted that "Megatron shrinked" cannon.

Honestly really tempted to get this for sheer repainting alone. I've never bothered taking a paint brush to my OG Dragoon and since this guy is rather affordable, I'm willing to take my chances. Say, are there any HD turn-arounds of TLK Megatron's CGI model? Ironically the movie doesn't provide enough reference for me to try and make an accurate repaint.

Here is my neck I carved with my hobby knife.
I'm having trouble getting his sword to peg into his back. Should I shave a little off the peg or the hole and if so which side?

Man this guy is soo good but he definitely needed a lot of fixes for his joints. Especially them hip joints.

I'm also boggled as to why they disabled the backwards butterfly joint on his arm that was on Dragoon? that would've definitely helped with getting his arm down further.

Also, i didnt want to make that neck peg any thinner, so i shaved down the head joint. Works like a dream. Very messy job but it's not like anyone's gonna see it ahaha

I also shaved his pits to allow his arm to rest further down.

Just an amazing piece. Props to Unique toys and their engineering team. (Maybe also some to BMB lol)

Great poses my dude! I am going to trim his underarm down as well.

How did you get his sword to peg on his back? Did you trim the peg?

Odd that you have to unscrew and disassemble the head to parts-form the inner cheek-spikes into place.

I removed the 2 nails altogether. The panels don't pop off and the magnetic cap keeps them there anyways (I actually think I lost them lol)
I had that issue at first but then I plugged it in from the other side and it works perfectly, even better than my OG Dragoon, idk if that helps:p

Also, can I ask: am I the only one bothered by the lack of scar paint on the mask face, that for some reason is there on the other one?

Yep that helped. I flipped it over and got it on by having to aim the sword up a bit. It falls off if you touch it on mine. Not sure if I need to use WD-40 on the peg or trim it so it stays on more tighly.

And yeah that bugs me as well

Just brute force i squeezed it in and it probably warped the hole big enough so that it fits now

A mix of Gunmetal gray and red gundam marker. Then a gloss coat to make it look metallic to match the factory paint

This just came in the delivery today and while I'm glad I've got him, to be honest with you he's just an Ok figure, I love the way they changed the face but there's a few issues. His joints is loose in some areas, his weapon is as sharp as a thorn and he looks very and ridiculously fiddly. Again, he's an Ok figure but I definitely won't be messing around with him or transforming him, he'll be going into a cabinet as soon as I get one. But I do like the individual finger articulation feature.
