    Ebay:
    Whoa.

Liokaiser just had 3 of these for sale in Junkion for $235 shipped apiece.

At $102 shipped I am extremely tempted to get one from here.

EDIT: aaaaaaaand I just did. Hope everything goes well.

I have some of the earlier trial KOs from the seller. Quality is excellent. Again, buy direct from the seller on ebay. His asking price for the giftsets are only $80. And he is asking $130 for the white headmaster set.

He has more for sale. Contact him thru ebay to get in touch with him. That may not the the actual producer but a friend. But thru him, you can get more for the actual price that's been set.

What's the quality like compared to the originals?

edit: and are there any distinguishing marks to differentiate them? removal of copyright symbols etc.?

Yes, those are the same exact ones from the guy from Italy. Expect that you're getting it from the actual source in China. And all these don't have the takara stamp and the rivets are different than the originals.

Thanks for the heads up! I hope nobody flags him because that would suck having to pay the scalper mark up on these figures.

100 bucks sounds good to me

Quality is exactly the same with the originals. You can't tell the difference between the plastics. The KO don't have the takara stamps and the rivets are slight different.
I'm going to upload some photos comparison between the two here: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-toy-discussion/284420-reproduction-heads-comparison.html

I wonder how many people are going to buy these sets and then try to pass them off as originals. :scalper

Havent seen any people doing this with the heads as of yet, but I wouldnt pay vintage prices for the real ones anymore, not when the KO's are so widely available. Glad i got rid of my heads for a decent price a long time ago.

That's what the guy in Italy was doing when the individual heads first came out.
