Man, I hate dropping another $100 on ko figures, but this is definitely my fav. combiner set. I have the protectobots, too, and they are pretty darn good quality.

 

yes about time, is the superion ko set the same as the original? i thought i saw some pics before and it was shorter than the original side by side, is this true?

 

I just wish they'd make them in their un-released G2 colors too =D

i've started to piece together an actual g1 menasor, maybe i'll get this to use temporary and so i don't need to track down those blasted tiny guns

 

I just hope the stickers come with it. Somebody here stated that he ordered the KO Superion box set and the stickers was missing.

Any word on the quality? I bought the KO devestator and wasn't impressed.

The Devastator was far better than the Easter basket ones, but not as good as the original. The Superion was a lot closer to original. In fact, it was better than the official reissue of Bruticus. The absolute best so far has been Defensor. He was indistinguishable from an original. I'll have to see how this guy is.

 

What was the set that had the mix-matched combiners? Was that full-size or WST set? Need to know.
Has Computron been KO'ed yet?
I wonder if these are worth collecting compared to originals as far as price/quality/availability.

Alright sweet. Cause I want these hard! But not if they were like the easter basket ones, I hope there as good as the defensor, my fav combiner is menesor so I've been trying to trake down a G1 one for like ever. Close enough for me

 

I don't usually buy KO stuff, but this is something I've dreamed about having since I was a kid and didn't get it for Christmas.

 

Im about to buy one for the box alone, I got an original minty g1 but have no box and I must have my box   Anybody wanna split the cost on a set. I just need the box.

 

yeah, most likely you got the much lower quality version. they have 2 versions, they look very close, the only way to tell is the box slightly different colors. they are both sold for the same price at ko toys at the time, and i offer. so do your research first. it took me a while to find myself the higher quality version.

 

Yeah the high quality Devastator is top notch. Must have gotten the cheaper knock off. The box on the cheaper one looks like crap. The high quality set's box is pretty close to the original, the only real difference is part of the left arm of Devastator is cut off a little more than the original.

 

Nice to see they finally posted a picture of the box, though I would like more pictures of what's included once someone gets one in hand, especially the insstructions.
