You will, if you forget to loosen the shoulder panel screw
Prone to breakage?
Easy fix. Takes five minutes and a screwdriver.
It might be fixed on Batch 2 though, idk
Oh, and be prepared for an upside down Autobot symbol in bot mode if you put it on the shoulder.
You will. The BB movie prime has generated a few iterations of this prime and the FS/WJ M09 will be $40 better and will make you regret this purchase...unless you're a moneybags that buys everything and shrugs.
I loosened the screws and both shoulders still broke.
I don't think it can, and not that it's a QC issue, but one from design. It's basically the side of the cab that is designed to rotate/swing/swivel and wrap around.
Thank you. It's not so bad, though - they hold just fine in both modes. Just makes him a bit of a partsformer is all.
What causes the breakage? Is it unavoidable?
Too thin pegs with too much tension on them during transformation. People have had good luck with loosening the screws that connect them but I tried that and they still broke. There's a video somewhere in the thread where a Chinese reviewer shows opening the shoulders and loosening the screws.
I opened up the shoulders, took the ratchet gear out and loosened the screw enough that the post slides out just enough to give the part clearance to turn, then put everything back together.
bit of a wHAT
With Zeta Pioneer. Love these two together even though the aesthetic isn't the best match.
I'd previously raised the rear of the UFO/Boku trailer to fit over M01's alt-feet. Guess I get to drop it a bit now.
the more I look at the Boku Trailer, the more I think it would fit perfectly with the BA mpm4...
the problem is, I can't find anymore!
If I recall, the BA MPM4 is about the same scale as Blue Circus, so here's a raised rear on their Nemesis repaint:
A few notes:
1) the trailer isn't long enough to scale to the 53' trailer used in filming. However, the box is nearly perfect for a 40' trailer scaled to the 1:26-1:28 OS trucks.
2) However, the rear wheels sit too low to be useful on anything bigger than Leader/MP(M) [1:32-1:35] Primes. Larger wheels and/or taller axles are needed to make the trailer sit straight on these larger trucks.
3) The hitching post is useless for most of the OS vehicles, as is the included adapter. I'll likely be cutting off the post and attaching a new, thinner one a bit further forward.
I think this trailer is a copy of the Boku.
