I'm actually pretty excited for this figure. I always thought it looked great and the reviews were generally positive all around. I never pulled the trigger because I don't agree with Hasbro's new MSRP.

 

If they fixed the truck's front like a true Freightliner and not some purely based on concept art of the original, it'll be a lot better.
Damn, I already pre-ordered Tak-Tom 2-pack G1 OP and SS-38 OP then this one came.

Oh well I hope it comes with many extras and more fixes.
If they can fix the wide back panels that destroys the robot silhouette, I'm ok with it too.

 

And still waiting for a 30cm version.

I hope there is a 30cm version. Need it to go head to head with MPP-10 and M01.

 

So this "oversized" version is really only 7" tall and not around the 9.5-10.5" MP height?

I have the original and I see the same tabbing issue on the legs on this one too:

 

Kinda a bummer this isn't bigger. I'm guessing the abdomen is diecast on this KO? Yay?

 

Wow they dropped the ball hard on this one. They could have made a few adjustments here and there to make this an even more amazing figure, but its just a KO. Oh well, I'm happy with my two officials.

 

I think this is in keeping with the Lubo/Lupo (Wei Jiang in Disguise) Optimus SS 19cm Voyager toy - only this one doesn't obviously have that one's minor simplifications, who knows though perhaps like Bumblebee this mould design might get multiple sizes.

 

I'm not seeing anything here that makes me want to trade in my Voyager for this.

 

Really pisses me off I'll have to settle for this garbage meanwhile hasbro killed the vastly superior Toyworld version.

 

Oof, and same, hence why it's currently listed on ebay for a cheap price. I wanted to like it, but that one issue...ugh..
