    Got my KO Shockwave yesterday.

I gotta say I'm pretty impressed by the quality.
It transforms very smooth and plastic seems of a good quality. Haven't checked the electronics, but I assume
    it works fine.
Box is pretty awesome as well, pretty impressed by the sharpness of the boxart. I think this time they hired someone who do
    can spell, no weird typos.

Please use this comparison review if you don't want to get f*cked on eBay. There are a lot of sellers trying to sell KO's as vintage.
I already saw a loose KO Shockie trying to sell as vintage. BEWARE!!!

    Box differences:
    - The boxart on the KO is more pink/reddish purple than the vintage one. The vintage one is more blueish purple.
    - The grey border between the window and the boxart is thicker than the vintage one.
    - The KO box states "includes snap on weapons and accesoires". That's not on the real one, although I've seen a vintage box that also had it.

    Bot differences:

    - KO is a little darker purple than the real one.
    - KO has silver screws, instead of black screws.
    - KO has a silver eye, instead of a golden/yellow eye.
    - KO has a shorter black hose than the real one.
    - KO decepticon symbol is a little more pinkish purple than the real one.
    - KO barrel doesn't go all the way over the hands in gun mode, but that's
    just slightly.
    - The left leg of my KO is a little loose, so it won't stand. But I think this can be repaired easily
    - In gun mode the arms of the KO are a little loose. So when the barrel is on and you lift Shockwave, it clicks down one click.

    Conclusion:
If don't mind KO's and like your TF's boxed, go for the KO. For less than 100 dollar you will have a minty fresh boxed Shockie.
A real MISB nice one will cost you about 700-1000 dollars, maybe even more.
If you collect loose, I would go for a vintage loose one. You can find that for 100 dollars as well.

Enjoy the pics: (sorry they are blurry, I'll try to make new ones soon.)

Mine just rocked up. I frikkin' love it!

Worth every penny, especially given the high price of the original.

My first KO TF, and probably won't be my last if this is any indication of future quality.

    how about the head
Does it have the gaps between the top and bottom half as per the early images?
    Cheers

I've been waiting for this thread... AND for my KO Shocky. I might have some pix to add soon. I've been haunting my mailbox waiting for mine to get here.

Great comparison! I didn't know the eye was silver. I'll be fixing that immediately along with the silver screws.

No gap on mine. Looks just like it should.

On another note, my KO Shockwave does have a proper golden eye and his barrel goes over his hands all the way. Might be a QC issue.
Also, the legs on mine are super tight.

Like Joopstra said, if you don't mind KO's I highly reccomend this figure!

The eye on mine was also gold, and the head is as it should be. The left leg is slightly loose, but he stands just fine with a quick fiddle :)

However, there is some deformation on the right foot:

Luckily I have Shackwave in a box somewhere, so a quick swap of foot/screws may be in order.

I'm a bit disappointed with mine. The right foot is very loose and will not click into possition whilst in robot mode and the arms are also rather loose, which causes a problem in gun mode when the barrel is on:

Also the chest plate that covers the electronics feels very soft compared to my old Shackwave version.

    Mine came this weekend.

    Highs:
    Gold eye
Great plastic feel. Seems like extremely high quality plastic
    Gun barrel covers his hands.

    Lows:
    The box was crushed.
The arms are weak. Not as weak as the photo above, but they BARELY support the barrel.
The thighs are weak. He can't stand at full height. They contract.
The feet are floppy just as in the pic above.
The hose is a light grey almost. It needs a shot of some Armorall or something.

    and finally...
THE LASER HAND IS BROKEN. Yeah, mine came with a shattered laser hand. The tip is broken off and it looks like crap.

    sigh.

    I'm way way disappointed.

I got mine last week also.

The seller pack very well, no dent at all and corner are sharp.

The quality of my shockwave is good. All joints are alright.

Just throw "KO SHockwave" into google, that's how I found the site that sold me mine. I don't think the rules allow us to tell you where to find KO's, but trust me, it's easy.

Received mine yesterday, and like others here, Shockwave wasn't in good shape. The left leg is too loose to allow it to stand and the right foot piece doesn't lock. (It looks like a plastic piece is broken/deformed preventing it from holding, as others above have reported.) The arms are also not strong enough to keep the barrel up in gun mode. The seller also didn't pack well and the lower left of the box was crushed.

Basically it looks like these are issues with the mold being used as they seem to be widespread problems.

I contacted the seller and he said that there were some defects in the first batch that have since been corrected. He offered to replace the item with a new one if I send it back, but am not sure if it's worth the effort. I fixed the leg issue with a bit of glue so it stands (and contracts) and the arm issue I may be able to fix as well.

That said, I also ordered a KO Reflector from the same seller and I'm really happy with the figure.

Just got mine in. Arms are a little loose at the elbows, like the others. But not a big deal. His right foot doesn't lock into place very well, but again, no biggie. One thing that does kinda bother me is that thick metal rod where his legs attach. The legs slide along it very stiffly and it looks like there some surface corrosion on the rod itself. BTW, were the sound effects on the original ever that loud? I almost went deaf when I heard it...sounds like a smoke alarm!
