With the new MP-10 Shattered Glass Prime coming out, I had a question about the original Botcon SG Prime. I know that the actual Botcon version is expensive and hard to come by, and I know that it's also been KO'd (the "KOLD" version.) My question is, is the KOLD version fairly good, or is it a piece of junk? I think there's also another Chinese KO that isn't the KOLD version (and are on eBay for super-cheap prices), but I could be wrong about that.
I have a KOLD version. It's decent at best. The joints are EXTREMELY floppy, and the gun smokestack weapon is really fragile. Paintwork is good though, aside from a "not for sale" stamp applied on it for some strange reason. I got mine many years ago when a KO toy store was going out of business. I paid 50 shipped for KOLD sg Optimus and a KO sg Rodimus. At that price, he's worth it. I wouldn't pay more than 40 bucks for him unless they bothered to adress the horrible floppiness and crappy gun.
