Robot Hero Oversized Starscream MP11

Nearly 1:45th - 1:48th scale alt mode.

 

Part of me wants to get this and use it as Underbase Starscream.

 

That's the whole reason why I'm getting it

The only thing I don't like about KO OS sized figures is that it makes me wish ALL mp scaled figures were this size. This thing really makes me appreciate panel lining and all the variations
of Transformers toys.

Damn MP-10 and its cost saving! Damn you Takaaaaaaaaaaaaaaara!

So... Tanaka's is larger, comes with the coronation gear but lacks panel-lining? Is that right?

Gotcha. It'd be nice to see some actual comparisons with the Tanaka one so we know how he scales.

 

Doesn't look like the panel lined one comes with those missiles either; but I really love the panel lining. The other one looks so plain. Even though it's shorter I'll probably get that one. Reminds me of Walscream.

 

Solid black missiles+pylons looks cheap/lazy.

 

1 hour ago I had no idea these existed. 1 hour later I'm out $212 because, without two of these Robot Hero Mp-11s in my collection, my brain would likely implode from the desire. My wallet is now on life support.

 

Well, it is a KO. You can't expect them to put too much effort in can you?

 

The panel lining does look pretty damn fine, and I imagine plain grey might look bad at this scale. I think I'll have to see a direct comparison before I make any solid decision TBH.

 

I hope they do other seekers. I don't wanna have just one this size, if this is the route I'm going

I might not have an issue with the black pieces, but I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a little more from a toy that's already (arguably) better than the official.

Ooooh Nice! Hows he feel? Does he come out of the Box panel lined like that or did you panel line him? That does really look nice

 

Comes out the box like this, feels very solid and tight. The loose waist is non existent on the mold, wings don't fall back if you slightly brush them apart. Here's a cringey yet purposeful video on the arm not moving at all with the chest. Watch as I violently jerk his arm back and forth
