Your pictures are fantastic. They really show off how great these oversized KOs are.

 

I think it's safe to say that these are going to be a big hit with this community. Hopefully Wei Jiang goes through with their plans to make alot more of these OS TR figures.

 

I'm trying to wait and see what Brainstorm is like before ordering these guys.


Anyway, I do wish that Wei Jiang had given these Headmasters separate legs since they were already making fixes, as the single leg going on here was completely unnecessary to begin with.

 

I'm really smitten with how well made these WJ versions are. I just opened up my 2nd titans return fig (1st was highbrow, which actually had tight joints all around) Hardhead, and out of the box the R elbow is looser than nelly furtado....like do they not check this stuff. I've got a lot more unopened TR deluxes, and I'm honestly considering selling them. Puzzled as to why Hasbro can't get it right. Is it budget? Is it even Hasbro's fault? ....anyway, keep it up WJ, you've earned a customer today!

I think I'll be getting these, at least for the alt-modes. My TR/Legends Deluxes will be staying in robot mode.

I wouldn't mind if they recoloured WJ Skullcruncher, either. I think my collection could do with a few giant robotic crocodiles. Keep 'em coming.

 

Good gawd man even the ko os head is better proportioned than the original voyager head (which looks badly out of proportion).

I do wonder if WJ is only oversizing the original deluxe class tho? I think the voyager class is fine in terms of height but could use some ratchet, diecast and add hinges to cover the hallowness

 

Same here. I like how they size up to the TR voyagers.
Don't want them to upscale the TR voyagers, but especially Galvatron could do with a lot of improvements
Wish they had kept the titanmasters the same size though. I don't think they look too small on voyagers. And it would have allowed us to use the Takara heads on the Wei Jiang guys. Meh, what's done is done.

 

A few things:

That Voyager Galvatron isn't wearing his crown.

Hasbro tried to keep the Titan Masters relatively the same size so that there would be line wide playability. Can't have interchangeability if the Titan Masters are the same size as the Wei Jiang oversized Voyager ones.

Also, that's the reason for the masks, pylons, and helmets on the TR Voyagers and Leaders. To keep the Titan Masters the same size due to play pattern but give them the illusion of being bigger than what they really are.

 

This would be a cool concept if they made the actual heads into real figures with articulation. Instead they're still just blocks of useless plastic for the most part.

 

Yup, that bugs me way more than their hollowness ever did.

 

I'd like to see WJ de-Headmaster some figures.

Allow me to expand on this thought:
WJ needs to slightly OS TR Galvatron, de-HM him and implement a couple improvements pertaining to his arm cannon

 

Will there be a Topspin? That's the only TR figure I'm interested in.
