The end of the door is exactly where it needs to be compared to the real one

Do you mean on the figure as it is or where I intend to do mine?

    As is.

The thing that's throwing you off are the arms behind the cab in terms of proportions.

Your red line for the door is on the front of the slot behind the wheel arch. Which would make it like this IMG_20221211_111942.jpg

I have to disagree. I did a quick unmeasured drawing with the red but the original door is to short for sure.
I have the original Argosy drawings somewhere witch I will use when modding starts.
    F0BCC52E-EF68-47A0-B78D-42CEA77A957C.jpeg
Here the door is about the end of the rim, where it meets the tire.
    AAB709B3-9CAD-4085-9D02-9FCCF257892A.jpeg
while on the model it is inside the rim near the center.
The original truck drives on 22.5 inch wheels where the ones on the figure translate to 19 inch so if we were to scale up the wheels to the correct size and draw a line up we would get bigger doors for sure.
I do agree the red line might be pushing it a bit but like I said it was drawn without measurements witch I obviously would do before any mod I make.

You are also right on the arms but he also misses the rubber “spoiler” lip aft of the cab witch I might add to.

I am happy you like him as he is trough, saves you a buckload of modding ;)

Mine came today! I was busy all evening so I only had time to do a quick once-over and QC assessment, and it looks good.

Once the BMB LS-06 ROTF Megatron I bought here arrives, I'll have all 5 movie Megatrons in larger-than-life MPM size!

You ordered him as well? LS-06 has been my favorite megs representation for a long time. He is great! Galvatron is a big fella right! How do you like him?

Hi guys, here are some pictures prove that the UT Dragoon is perfectly scaled with FL01 and BS03. The BS02 is too small, it is scaled with the UT Challenger.

Any options on his ankles? I'm curious if those flat pieces that make up the truck bed in alt mode and fold up between the tires and ankles in bot mode have any affect on stability

I want him so bad but I'm holding out in case they reissue the s variant as I am in love with the paint on that one

Yeah it's honestly been pretty sad for me. Ive been waiting to see if there's a dragoon reissue coming out anytime soon but idt that's the case. Even if he does as of rn idt I could afford it

Waiting on a few different megs to reissue lol, but for now I think my wallets good

    Yes it does.
There was already a 3d printed kit for that available somewhere, they just refined it for the KO.

He had a tendency to lean forward, there was a gap between his leg and foot.
    IMG_20221212_163927.jpg

Now that gap is filled and its plastic leaning on plastic.

This is seriously a nice touch! I'm guessing this removes any forward tilt though, right?

It looks like this one is missing the slot on the back of each hand that his big cannon clips into, anybody else see that? I'm trying to figure out how to attach it securely.

Mine just came in, no QC issues by the first look!

    IMG_20221212_163220.jpg

Side by side you can really see the difference in sculpt throughout the figure.
The chest doesn't look as hollow with the deeper scuplted details
    IMG_20221212_163307.jpg IMG_20221212_163312.jpg IMG_20221212_163343.jpg IMG_20221212_163348.jpg IMG_20221212_163408.jpg IMG_20221212_163403.jpg
The paintwork Is really good and there is a bit more of it on the inside of his legs.
    IMG_20221212_164419.jpg IMG_20221212_164422.jpg

The hip ratchets are now diecast, the thigh sliders work nicely, not tight at all but doesn't slide in due to his weight.

The KO is 260 grams heavier at 1136grams

They replaced the arms next to his head which rotate the whole head/front cab assembly from diecast to plastic. Which for the paint aspect looks a bit better, hope the diecast isn't really needed.

    Dagnabbit, you're absolutely right!
    They screwed that up alright.

I'll see if i can make a 3d printed insert for the cannon, so the hand just slots in tightly

Sign me up for one please!

Mine looks to be in excellent shape now that I've had time to look him over more carefully. I painted the bands around the missile pods black. I might drill a couple slots on his arms somewhere to mount them to.

Here is a quick guide to fixing the roof panel.
There is a lip on it which prevents the rotation of the roof/back panel, which isn't there on the original UT Nero.

    Take off the rear panels.
    IMG_20221212_184039.jpg

Unscrew the 4 screws in the back panel.
    IMG_20221212_184049.jpg

    Flip it open.
    IMG_20221212_184134.jpg

    Flip out the roof sections.
    IMG_20221212_184156.jpg

    Remove the back panel.
    IMG_20221212_184227.jpg

    Remove the roof section.
    IMG_20221212_184247.jpg

Remove the lip of the roof panel so it looks like the picture. Sharp knife works perfect.
    IMG_20221212_184254.jpg IMG_20221212_184351.jpg
    IMG_20221212_184427.jpg

Now reinstall the roof section and put everything back.
    IMG_20221212_184448.jpg

    Now the panel can rotate

You beat me to it. :)

I found this video comparison with the original, and a nice transformation sequence.

At 1:55, the roof transformation begins, and the guy just torques the roof panel around, you can see the pivot tilting over. Yikes.
