I wonder if part of the delay is if they plan to release a giftset of all of them at the same time the 5th piece is released - that might explain the delay.

Hopefully before then, CNY is earlier next year, so I expect most shipping and order fulfillment to cutoff before the 3rd week in, after likely having already slowed down in the first week after Christmas/New Years slowdowns everywhere else.

They might have been better off delaying it if they couldn't get it out soon. If it's not shipping fairly soon it's going to fall in some elephant traps like Christmas and Chinese New Year. I do still wonder though if they are planning on reproducing the earlier ones again and selling this as a gift set too ?

Good to see it's on the way in some sense though. The timing is horrible though - it will miss getting in early to benefit from the buying scene and then if it ships in January a lot of people will be skint or have annual bills to pay (which for some reason seem to like to show up in January) then even if it tries to ship later in Jan it's tripping over Chinese New Year.

That said I am glad to see it's being made at least.

 

Personally, I'm hoping most of the holdup right now is them finishing up their MP Hotlink and Bitstream!

I would hope that the time spent was because releasing previous products and tweaking this mold because the original had some tight tolerances IIRC.
