The normal upgrade kit is out.... Jinbao, did u see this?
This is great news. It means Action Robo should have its stock by Monday or so.
Really hoping for a G2 orange version of this guy sometime down the road...
@robh i would love to see any photos you take during the process via PM
I wouldn't expect it. On the other hand, I think there's a strong likelihood they'll KO at least part of the Generation Toy upgrade set that's coming out.
This is a Chinese review for the upgrade kits, seems very good. The price in China is 178 RMB.
Generation Toy - GT-06 - Duron Drill - Gift Set
Generation Toy - Gravity Builder - Full Set of 6 Figures + Megasorry
Generation Toy - GT-88 - Gravity Builder Set - Black Judge LE500
Not bad looking...the original photos almost made it look like overkill, these look much more reasonable.
Hmm still individually boxed, ie. not a boxset?
This is robotoybase’s listing, show 6 boxes Instead of a ‘giftbox’
Perhaps only black judge comes in one big package?
not a fan of the drills, but the thighs and head are money. I sure hope JB does a set
When does Set C release for JinBao's OS KO Gravity Builder? I just recently watched EmGo's reviews on the Set A, and 1 half of Set B and am in love with the size of this Devestator which has prompted me to sell off my NBK set and replace them with this guy.
Estimated in September. More like October/November, I don’t think we’ve seen much about them yet, like prototypes.
I just transformed all of mine into limb mode, waiting for set C. I love how clean and solid these feel compared to the originals- mainly because of their size. It’s funny though- there were some steps I don’t remember from the originals. I guess I’ve been transforming knock offs for too long.lol
Question, though - Mixmaster doesn’t seem to hold his weapons pack in leg mode very well, behind his cab foot. I remember it snapping in better with the original.

Is this them or is this different? And are these bigger?
No, that is the same size as the original GT and the KO by NBK.
To my knowledge, only JinBao is currently making an oversized version.
Those actually ARE the NBK guys, just different packaging. Rumor is, that Weijiang and NBK are the same company.
im still hopefull a full box release will cone with drills for those who waited.
Hey guys. After some advice on these. I've never bought KOs before, but am very tempted by these guys, especially at the price. But I'm concerned by the quality and QC.
Emgo and Benscollectibles reviews put me on to them, but reading online there seem to be way more QC and quality concerns. Someone spoke of Mixmasters barrel feeling like shampoo bottle plastic, and several have mentioned lots of missing pieces. The thinner plastic and much thinner, and now ratcheted, brackets on Scrappers bucket scoop forming the foot of a two-foot combiner and taking weight is a concern. And someone else mentioned concerns over the hip ratchet teeth being too wide.
Just after some help clarifying and laying out the pros and cons of these guys. Opinions seem fragmented and scattered.
Thanks in advance.
Don't have the original one but I'm collecting the jinbao because they seems pretty good also for custom paint. I can tell that plastic quality is very good I've never had the feeling of going to break something during transformation, but I can also confirm that barrel feels like bottle (that's why I'm going to paint it). Ratchets are solids. No other qc on my copy
Yeah..no. Someone is confusing the JB with another KO. These guys are solid. The hip ratchet being too wide is a problem with the original and the post was asking if JB had fixed it. JB long haul isn’t even released, yet. I was missing a missile pod, but my seller got me a replacement. I couldn’t be happier with these guys. Well not until part 3 and the g1 head (hopefully) are released.
Thanks for the info. The ratchet query isn't about Long Haul/combined mode: apparently forward ratchets were added to Scavenger and Bonecrusher, and the teeth are so wide they have to take quite a step forward or stand straight, but also tip back slightly at the torso due to these ratchets. Can't find any other confirmation of this though.
