    Sounds problematic. Ouch.

Although most likely, he will stay in combined mode.

if you want to get them out, pry with a flathead screw driver gently a little at a time. keep trying to pull them out manually with each try. after a few screw driver pushes they should come out on their own. i used a small one and i have little marks on the sockets from it.

Zeta Superion will make those combiners look like kids. It's 50cm like Constructor.

I’ll be spending some time fiddling with Silverbolt before combining, as I already had the limbs from TFcon (and now have an extra set). I guess if I run into the issue and have to pry limbs out, then I gues I’ll know which bots nominated themselves to have their combiner ports slightly filed/sanded down to work with both the OS’d defensor/red hotspot fire convoy and superion.

I should be getting my first zeta aerialbot within the next 2-weeks, so perhaps that’ll be the time I combine after some comparisons.

Has there been any images anyone has posted of the "Toy instructions" configuration of Superion where Skydive and Air raid are the arms ?
Since this is one of the few Superion sets that can actually do that - it's a major selling point for me (as it drives me slightly nuts that the others can not do it).

    I overall love this figure.

I can’t afford the MP combiners and I already had CW Devy and superion but always urk me that superion is tiny

The nit picks are QC issue. The ports are tight and the chest doesn’t line up. And I have no idea how he’s meant to hold his gun, looks like a broken peg. Also the feet have some tight springs. Nothing a screwdriver and sanding won’t fix.

In return I get quite a posable superion even in g1 leg configuration, semi knee bend. All bots are sturdy, decent size and I like the looks of each bot. And comes with great posable superion hands.

@call4jim the combined gun problem was resolved much earlier on when people first started receiving the set. There is a handle meant for combined mode, that is plugged underneath the gun. Just unplug that, plug it in the right way around such that the handle can now tab into the combined mode palm and you're good to go.

Just in case anybody doesn't know - there's weapon storage for all the 4 small blasters in combined mode. Obviously two can slot into the holes in the sides of his thighs. The other two can slot into holes on the big gun. Those holes are cut to perfectly fit the small blaster handles so it's clearly intentional.

If Superion isn't holding the lightning gun then I peg it into the hole on the underside of Silverbolt, on Superion's back. If anyone else has a better place to stow the big gun, do share.

I would have liked to peg the big gun into Superion's upper arm, but alas :/

It is painful seeing all you guys have KO OS Superion already and my pre-order at BBTS is still just sitting there. I'm waiting for him to arrive before shipping my PoL, so not only do I not get him but it is also holding up other stuff as well. And I'm paying $190 for the privilege of it too...

Tempting to cancel and order elsewhere. Are there still better deals out there than that?

What is up with BBTS anyhow? They never used to be this slow getting stuff in but it's taking them forever on their stock. I thought it might just be a one off but it seems like it's all their stuff, except maybe the officials. I'd love to buy from them but they never get anything in and I keep going somewhere else.

It looks like on that ebay link they've bumped the price up and with shipping it is pretty close to BBTS at $180. I double-checked tf-direct and they are the same too. Not sure if there is enough price difference anymore to make it worth cancelling my BBTS pre-order. I should have jumped on it when it was much cheaper! Wasn't it ~$140 at one point?

With this and all the other problems they have, BBTS is really making me re-think having them as my primary PO location. I'm just across the state line from them though so it is just about perfect. No tax and really fast shipping even when using their cheapest option.

145 was a fluke and didn't last very long.
