The bot heads are G1 toon accurate? How do they scale with Zetas AirStrike? Swappable?

    I'm getting tempted.

Saw emgo's review for the Zeta Air Raid. I really like the look of that figure, it looks nice and a very good Air Raid. The best, easily. But when I see him next to a MP...he really is too big for his design. Too simple and with too little details to break up the big flat surfaces. (Yes, that's cartoon accurate.)

I still have the four TFC limbs with whom I have a love/hate relationship. I dislike them utterly and want to sell them, but then I pick one up and I like fiddling with them and like the pretty good altmodes. But then I set them on the shelves and dislike the non-Aerialbot designs on those.

This KO seems to be the size I want (maybe even a tiny bit too big), have enough details and have enough of the Aerialbot design cues on most of them. Maybe a bit too simplistic in design (arm covers would've been nice and I still hate how the CW legs results in huge gaps), but maybe that's a bonus: improving figures often makes me enjoy them more.

Best I've managed without any modding is to position the gestalt arm gaps such that the robot mode buttflaps of the armbots are behind the gaps. Thus giving the illusion of nongappy arms.

Too bad they weren't able to do anything for Silverbolt hands hanging out on the back of Superion's legs. It still looks good, thought.

Mine just arrived, but needs a few hours to thaw out.

It's damn cold over here, and I don't wanna risk breaking any part of this set due to brittle plastic.

They just attempted delivery, but my lazy stepson didn’t answer the door:/

I signed up for text updates, for when it’s ready for pickup. I still have 5 hours, so it hopefully should be.

I told him to get my Jinjiang Constructicons off that cold porch, though!lol

GOt mine yesterday! Would have had it on Saturday but it was delivered to my office. That would have been less than 10 days from order. Very quick even for baba. Haven’t had a chance to really play with it yet, only opened for inspection. The plastic appears on combiner wars level. Definitely not mp, but still very nice and more than good enough for my needs as an mp scale superion.

Put mine together before my Drs. appointment today.

Everything went straight to combined mode, so I didn't check out any of the bot modes, but the plastic seems nice and durable, and Superion himself looks pretty damn cool combined. Sadly his gun sits loose in his hands though, even though it seems to peg in tightly at first. All it takes is a bump or a jostle, and it's out of his hand slot just like that.

I do wish the bottoms of the combined mode weren't hollow, as anything other than standing straight gets him to start sliding on my stand, and he needs something there to hold friction tape or what-not.

Over-all though, I really like the set, and just need to figure out where I'll be putting it now.

Yayyyyy! He got here. The first thing I did before combining him, was completely take apart those ankles. I HIGHLY recommend replacing the springs- they are WAY too strong, as others have already stated. Don’t hesitate to do so- this plastic is surprisingly good, but the screws are going to pull out under so much tension, and these ratchets are going to break. These are not “springs”, as much as they are “solid metal coils”. Seriously, replace them.

I also flipped the ankles, so I could place the jets in G1 configuration. Two birds with one stone;)

Now my pathetically “stretched out” CW Superion can finally retire.

Do you think manually compressing and “working in” the springs will help like with the titans return trypticon hips?
