As long as it's an MP sized OS (rather than some other weird size), I will definitely grab a couple. I have the current.

 

This is a dream come true. I missed the original and I wasn’t willing to pay the current mark-up due to his size. An MPM scaled version is an instant purchase.

 

Any word on price?

 

How long would that make car mode?

 

Nice! I didn't want to get the original because of how small it was and some plastic quality concerns I saw but this is excactly what I hoped for!

 

I will reserve judgment until release.

You know, I'm very interested. I have an original Firage. It's.....okay. I'm glad it was made. I was inspired by the story of it starting as a fan creation whose design was purchased by a 3P company. I'm glad I supported it with my money. Certainly, the engineering was amazing.

But it had a LOT of problems. Many of the problems were related to weak plastic. If this was oversize, then some of the fragile pieces would theoretically be bigger, and hopefully stronger.

A lot of the problems were also due to poor tolerances. If this OS KO has "fixed issues," then maybe the design was tweaked to allow for better tolerances?

 

Too big... shouldn’t he be the same height as Jazz?

 

I hope they keep the die cast feet, helped with balance. If this costs a lot less than the original ($60), I'll check it out too.

 

Cool! Happy for those that always wanted this. For someone that has always enjoyed the larger deluxe figures of old--which Firage falls right into--I was always absolutely happy with him at his original size. It truly is an excellent figure exactly as he is. But I may look into getting this second version for my MP collection if his price is decent.

I would keep in mind that "18cm" tends to be a bit of a generic use of height when it comes to voyager or MP/MPM carbots. I'm not saying that's the case here, but it could be. At minimum, it's probably good to wait to see more comparison pictures.

 

Skipped the genuine one because of how bad Alien Attack OP was but I always found the design interesting. I may give this one a chance.

I like my original a lot and as long as this ends up being between MPM Bee and Jazz height, I'm probably sold.

I don't care if the robot mode is a bit taller than bee, as long as the altmodes are scaling well!
