Because if the most unlikely thing happens and this is revived, I want to actually know it’s alive rather than just seeing useless off topic talking about how good a prime is or how much we hope it’s alive. There’s no meaningful discussion that can be had about a dead figure, so at this point it’s becoming spam and pointless bumping.

It's BARELY relevant. Like 2% relevant. Definitely doesn't warrant all the comments it's gotten so far.

ANYWAY, about Ironhide, I'm surprised another company hasn't simply taken the original MPM and attempted improvements based on the pics and info available for this figure. If one who is well versed in transforming robot toy design/production were to analyze every aspect of the prototype photos we've all seen I'd imagine they could reproduce at least some of the improvements. And CGI models of the bots are available online, so they could reproduce any details of the sculpt from that.

 

To you it might be, to other people it clearly isnt, so how about we practice that tolerance and ignore it?

I'm the one that started this whole thing, so I'll begin by apologizing for even bringing it up.

The only reason I even brought it up was bcs for me, it showed hope, which I even mentioned on a another reply that did include BA Ironhide in it.

Eh it’s ok. I’ve just been disappointed so often when seeing this thread pop up and thinking “maybe it’s alive?”. I think we should just hold out hope for another 3p to tackle the design rather than this one.

 

Honestly, I'm kinda shocked no KO/3P company has decided to retackle this design/character with how disliked and bad MPM Ironhide is and how much better it could be. Maybe it causes they to want to other characters or because Hasbro has already done that design and they don't want to retackle it?

 

3rd parties now remain with a low profile to avoid to be blocked/arrested. For example Unique Toys had a low profile with posting news on Nero. Now they are closing. See also Black Mamba: they constantly change name. Zeta Toys Flash arrived in a black box with head in another brown box. A OSKO (Ironhide or whatever) is really dangerous to do now (see also Mechanical Team OSKO Devastator, by Black Mamba). But after all seeing WeiJiang stuff popping out, gives me hope about Hide of Iron...maybe next year.

 

I’m hoping that *someone* will do the OSKO of Jeep Bumblebee that we saw a pic of after the raid.
