Not interested in the mold and so I didn't really pay attention to the video. The packaging is a simple brown box. Some diecast in the area behind the head in jet mode, arms, thighs/legs (places where he tap with a sword to demonstrate the sound). The head seems quite loose like a bobblehead, and some changes seemed to have affected the lightpiping.

Pretty sure a Weijiang MPM Megatron "OS" would be the same size as either rendsora or their MPP36 Megatron (which it's still smaller than BMB Megs)

Not sure what I want to do. I like having the officials because I like the boxes, but I also like the paint and the price on this. Then there is the possibility of an OS to scale with the BA version. So many choices.

I ended up selling my MPM Megatron because of how bad the QC was, hopefully It's better on this version although I really wish it was oversized. I may hold off and see if Weijiang or BMB does an oversized one.

So this doesn't seem to have any improvements besides paint and it's by some company named honey badger? Screenshot_20190825-192656_YouTube.jpg

Well, it seems to have better ratchets, redistributed die cast so that the feet aren't so heavy, which puts less stress on the ratchets. Most of the soft plastics have been replaced with regular plastic with exception to a few places, and the red translucent section in the chest has been changed out for a solid gray piece, which looks much nicer imo

    That's... not great

Die cast feet are important for a lot of angled poses

Might as well just get the original and repaint

Not really, die cast feet really upset the balance of a figure and inhibit it from doing poses which would normally be viable. Plus, die cast pieces are less complex, meaning that the legs of a figure, which generally contain a large chunk of the vehicle mode is relegated to be less complex than everything else. And on top of that, the additional weight slowly wears down joints, which can be seen in the floppy hips of mpm4. I like my diecast, just not in the legs

The original MPM Megatron doesn't have diecast in the feet or legs. It's all in the torso and it makes him top heavy in comparison to the other MPM figures that have better balance with diecast in the feet and lower legs. At least that's what I've found.

This. I've always wondered why companies don't leave diecast for joints and pieces that have a lot of stress on them. I love the sound of metallic ratchets. Plus you don't have to worry about the teeth wearing down over time.

I heard this is BMB product, but they removed the name to dodge problems. Not sure if it's 100% true, but it's from reliable source.

Legendary Toys is a Wei Jiang, actually. So as Wodel Wizard, Model World and Lubo.
