Christ. I haven't looked mine over since January. I'm a bit afraid to, hearing all kinds of damage from scores of buyers. Yup. 95% (or more) of its problems are material(s). Unfortunately (FOR ME), it looks like they might make theirs with a different color of plastic.
FWIW my replacement Hound is still fine, aside from 1 crack behind the front bumper that formed during the first week. I've glued it and have not had any issues since. I might pick this KO up but I'd rather wait for an official reissue that fixes the material issues.
Most of the times takara don't fix anything. They just need to make the plastic a bit softer and more bendy.
It sounds more like a chemical or oil was mixed in the plastic that made the plastic brittle. Or even dust can make it that way. But bendy plastic is the reason I dont buy mainline. Feels like Tupperware
I still don't believe the fucking 4th party label that's being used here. Call them KOs, that's what they are.
Only way to lower that shipping cost is to get more planes in the air. so either all of us become pilots, or we simply wait. they can call him 7th party my little pony for all I care, it’s just a store’s term for it. Who gives a shit what the title is?
Exactly, the only things that matter here are that it will be half* the cost of the official, and potentially better quality too. Which, giving the current state of the official run doesn't seem like too high of a bar to reach.
