got my ko mp 39.. its decent enough. there are some bad paint bs here and there. especially on the exhaust/rear area.. howev, its a ko and i can live with it, if not, i could fix it one day...

the robot is fairly solid.. no real issues.. chest decal is a lil crooked and his rifle doesnt like to stay in the slot in his hand though.. the pistol holds fine... a ko worth buying..

No KO Cordon revealed as of yet. Only the official Cordon for now.

For anyone who disassembled this to paint, how far did it get? I do not mind painting the ko.

Mine just arrived. I am surprised how good the paint actually is, especially for being yellow, a notoriously difficult pigment to work with.

I bought the KO as a test drive to see if it made sense to buy the official. Now that I have him in hand, I doubt the official will be of better quality.

He looks good in vehicle mode. However, side by side with Sunsurge, I prefer the BC version's appearance (especially the more mustard, less canary color for the BC).

Haha. Just don't post that on the any official threads or they'll come after you with torches and pitchforks.
The paint on my KO Sunstreaker is pretty good as well. I have the official, KO, and Sunsurge being the 3rd party option. I wish Takara would put rubber (or rubber-like) tires on their carbots. At least the early copies of the KOs of MP Tracks, RoadRage, and Wheeljack got rubber tires.

Arm missile cannon now available for MP-39 Sunstreaker/KO-MP-39 Sunstreaker/MP-42 Cordon.
It is basically compatible for all current and upcoming versions and repaints of the Sunstreaker/Cordon mold.
It is available in different colors.

From the pics and video of MP39 Sunstreaker, I really was not impressed. In hand, however, I am glad that I bought the KO.

His backpack and shoulders aren't anywhere as obnoxious as MP36, which is what I had feared for him.

Aside from the rather complex transformation, the mold is well built.

Not really worse than most 3P Masterpieces. Nowhere near as terrible as MP36.

I have transformed him back and forth now. First time was pretty rough, but now that I have done it, I could transform, him from memory; most steps are pretty intuitive.

It's good to know there's no worry of anything breaking while transforming the KO.

Kind of felt like it at first, and those inner leg panels still give me concern (they are crazy tight), but I am making sure of moving them only from near the hinge. However, now that I have moved everything around, the joint have all loosened up (aside from those scary leg panels).

I can't speak as one that owns it and basing on what I read so far but if your okay with paint issues like over spray, miss color yellows, added by crooked autobot insignia and possibly loose joints, sure. I would strongly recommend reading the previous posts because it will benefit you the most and watch a few reviews that I'm sure have been posted in this thread too.

Its the only way you'll be prepared for your about to invest in. Lucky for you, its only about 30 pages. I've dug through 10 times that and was worth it on other products, as I would've made a lot of unhappy purchases hadn't I not did it, especially about fixes and replacement parts that can get missed or forgotten.

For a KO, my copy isn't bad at all.
