No real reason why customs would remove the batteries. battery shipping issues are an ICAO/ IATA concern, not a customs issue.

There's no telling when or if batteries will be removed. Luckily for my IT-01 it arrived from overseas still sealed and nothing was tampered with.

Can anyone confirm if the regular release of IT-01 canon has 4 notches and Welker's voice is included... Saw it in Ben's youtube post... Sadly, mine has only 3 notches and doesn't came with english voice

That 4th notch is there on the original. The notches are very subtle. You need to barely move the switch to get to the Welker voices.

So which is the better KO Megs, IT or THF?

 

Got my IT-01 today and I'm impressed, I didn't realise how much I disliked the 'toon insignia until I put a regular one on this guy. The backplate is a bit of a cheat but a welcome addition but on top if that the finish, the joints, the English voice clips and LED's in the cannons, its all an improvement over the original.

Also I reckon I did a rather good job on the insignia placement and 'distressing'.

 

Tried it again but no luck. It seems that the 2nd runs doesn't have the Welker feature...

 

I just received my second run version and I can confirm it has the Welker voice clips. Are you trying the the right cannon? There are two, one that matches the official release and one with Chinese(?) and English voice clips, it comes in a separate bag with the additional Kremzeeks, NOT in the plastic tray. You want the one with the purple LED, not the red.

 

Mine came without the extras and the included cannon has red led and in Chinese voice. Anyhow, its still a great figure I'll just check with my seller if he has an extra...

 

Can someone please tell me why the prices vary on tf-direct to showzstore so drastically? Are there different accessories sold by each, or are they completely different figures?
