Dammit the parcel containing my Megotroun got delivered yesterday while I was at work so there was nobody home to sign for it so it got returned to the depot and now I can't have it till Monday :'(

 

This fella looks fantastic! I'm kinda glad that I never bought the original DX9 release now.

Anyone got any pics of if next to the Iron Factory stuff like the Seekers and Shockwave?

I'm also kinda curious as to how this fella looks next to IF's Optimus/God Ginrai as well.

I like the figure in general and I might get him whenever the new prime drops. But right now I feel like gt megatron and prime are like peanut butter and jelly. I can't break them apart they look so damn good.

 

Any side by side pics with DX9 Dutch? Will it be the same height?

 

MFT Megatron is a lot taller than Dutch.

Ditto. I love these two. What perfects them is putting MFT Megatron's head on GT's body. He looks so much better with that head than with GT's.

 

If only we could get MFT Megs shrunk down to Legends Dutch size.

Anyone have any pics of this guy with x2toys giga raiden?

 

Picked up some cheap KOs from the local chain store in Malaysia. The Titans Return are RM11 each (USD 2.70) while KO of MFT Megotroun was RM31 (7.50). All three are very good quality and not the terribly thin, see-through taikongzhan plastic.

On Megs were some noticeable sprue marks. It doesn't have the smaller accessories from MFT. Nothing seems to be simplified, though transformation seems to have some clearance issues (particularly when swinging the other arm over to the same side to form the gun's butt). I really don't know how they cut the price so much from the already reasonably priced MFT version... I'm seriously considering going back to get a second copy.

Last pic: Size comparison with Chao Bao KOs of Galvatron and Cyclonus (also very good KOs, Galvatron's cannon has a very nice gold paint), Hasbro FOC Deluxe Shockwave and Titans Return Windblade.

 

Still hoping for a diaclone/e-hobby black version with brown lower legs.

 

I have that Shockwave in my FoC display, but he looks really good with that Megatron too. Shockwave looks cool bigger then megs sometimes.
