KO of Dx9 Toys La Hire
Price: 258 Yuan or approx $36.30 USD/$55.50 AUD

 

Why?? The original was already very reasonably priced by 3rd-party standards.

I was JUST saying in the La Hire thread that I was hoping for a repaint (preferably by the original makers), but I have no interest in a straight KO. If anything, I want to support UT/DX9 so they can make more awesome figures.

 

If they hit on a snazzy new deco that DX9 passes on, I'll probably get that KO, but I don't think I need this. DX9's offering is perfect

 

I think sells were not good and ut/dx9 sold the mold. Since this is the 2nd mold koed, and challenger was not koed, I think it is reasonable they sold rather than someone stole it.

 

Interesting.... I want to buy DX9 La Hire but instead I bought the wrong version (TFEVO Hot Fire) by mistake... so I couldn't afford the DX9 anymore. Maybe this time I can finally taste the transformation of DX9 La Hire.

 

Well La Hire was affordable and great hence i got mine for about 65 usd a few months ago. Though due to plastic and shipping price incrases and dollar gaining value against tl, if i eanted him now, i would have to pay twice of that.

I am glad for those can not afford the original, i am super happy with mine being original though.

 

This is probably DX9 doing it, beating the curve.

I might check ot out. Terrible head aside, he's a nice figure.

 

After shipping this will probably be $135

 

if thats the case i dont' think people need to feel bad about buying the KO...but i guess we'll never know. la hire's price is reasonable though...i guess stll avilable at some places too.

 

Didn’t expect this but ok. If it’s well made I’ll buy it. I mean, money saved is money saved.

 

I might pick this up, same as I did with the KO Peru Kill. I'm not really into the Bayverse designs enough to want MP versions, but DX9's engineering on theirs has been extremely impressive. Might be worth it just to experience the transformation.

I might snag a copy to display as the car mode for my La Hire- always wanted to do that

 

I would not mind a cheaper versiyon of UT challenger though, i own the Destroyer version and can not justify paying after market price for a Challenger which is the same mold, plus getting the Dragoon which i am not interested in, just for the good head.

 

I have the original, and he displays really well. If he's cheap I might do a "Mannequin transformation" display like I saw Weijiang do.

The car is incredibly suave, and displaying him "transforming" into it would be pretty cool.

 

wow, that head is hideous… particularly those eyes!  

must be a way to add a visor or something in front of those, right???  

 

I'm in on this. Missed DX9 offering due to bills and tight funds. This price is perfect! I'm hoping for a red flame G1 repaint.

 

I honestly didn't know third party companies did this. So really, this isn't even a KO, just a "second run" of the mold by a different company.

 

One of those Peru Kill KO's was Dx9. AOD Richthofen was them, too.

 

I think MT did this stun too a few times. (no proofs though)
