Mine came in from AliExpress with no issues. Smartlulup reinforced the package with some extra cardboard. Not sure if that made a difference or if China post decided not to manhandle the package. It’s actually the first time in quite a while that I’ve gotten a loose item from China where the box wasn’t crushed.

 

Had a little more time with these guys and found a few more issues.
Scrappers hands were on the wrong sides, easily fixed with a nail and pressure.
Hook had the waist tabbing issue, quick bit of sanding and it was taken care of.
The others all had a decent amount of plastic flashing that was easily removed with an Exacto.

Hook however is the only one with a problem I can’t fix and that’s that he has two of the same foot so he can’t transform properly as it relies on specifically molded pieces. So hey if anyone else got two of the other foot hit me up and let’s trade.



Overall though for the price I’m still happy with these guys but the individual robots definitely show how much they were designed to be bigger than this and I don’t see this standing up to multiple transformations without all the tiny tabs breaking off.

Am I the only one who uses a small price of paper to fix a loose joint for mushroom pegs/ball joints?

 

I usually use a small piece of duck tape. Add a descent amount of friction and I can always remove it.

Yea I ordered mine in box thru TF-Direct, I believe shipping was free but with the price was 70 so still higher than most places but once in stock it took about 2 weeks or a bit more, the box was packed very well so no complaints there the price was higher than Sirtoys but I am very pleased besides for a few pieces having some flashing that needs cleaned up and Scrappers head is loose when in foot mode but everything else is great, scrappers hands were right, hooks feet seem to be right. Really can’t complain. If I was to order another one I would def go the boxed route.

 

Where is the most optimal place to order from?
Are the issues universal or more so from one store?

 

Tf-direct isn’t bad. Free shipping and they ship it out within a day but takes close to a month to arrive. I’m on week three now and still waiting.

 

Is shopping eBay for this smol big guy worthwhile? I see him listed at various high feedback Chinese shops, which is significantly less sketchy than the other ones...

 

Just look at their feedback and previous 6 months of sales and feedback. If you see some justified negative ones move on

 

I've ordered all my WJ predaking from there first one took a month after that just a week or so.
I'm also in FL if that has any effect on shipping
