So what's with the handful of sellers selling the brand new clear KO Optimus Prime as 'one of 500 in a very limited reissue run, these are the very last stock, get them before they're gone', etc.? One guy had them described as such last week, I messaged him and he said he was under the impression they were a limited 500-piece run done by Hasbro a few years ago. Now liqdeal, a very high volume and in-the-know seller has an auction with the same descriptions posted and a $400 BIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????? Yes, limited and almost gone, that's why he only has 12 of them for sale in the auction: http://cgi.ebay.ca/Clear-Transparen...oryZ4694QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I'm surprized he is trying to pull that bull$ht as he must obviously know what's going on and his $400 price is even more over the top than the other scammers. My message to him: "So you must know, as you're a major Transformers seller including ko/bootlegs, that this is a brand new KO that is not limited in production #s at all, is an unofficial reproduction, not a reissue, and is readily available on the secondary market? I figure you must know, but your $400 price tag and auction description are just confusing. I contacted another seller doing this this week, they claimed to think it was an authentic Hasbro product from a limited run years back."
But if the seller sets up the auction description such that it is misleading then the seller is unfairly hampering the buyer's ability to make a clear decision.
looks cool but if real lunchtimes had breaking issues do to the clear plastic then these just might end up being bust from the factory.
