Auction I'm leaning towards KO, at least the box must be, and the price is too low... Am I right, or talking out of my arse?
Hmm. I can't seem to find any box comparison pics, but the box is in incredible condition considering there's no inner bubble (an easy tell for a KO Swoop, incidentally). He does appear to have one chest sticker, but you can get those ffom Reprolabels. Interesting to note, however, that there are no other stickers. Both missile launchers fit in the holes on the wings (the KO has one hole too big), but again that can be fixed with one wrap of tape round the peg on the launcher. My jury is out on this one; as long as it goes for less than about £30 it'd be worth it KO or not. More than that, and it wouldn't be worth it as a KO.
Is the rubsign on the correct wing? That's an easy way to figure it out. I'd check myself but i'm in class now.
Something about the way the missile is sitting in the right launcher seems a bit off to me. I could be wrong, but i'm leaning towards a KO, or an original with parts from a KO.
It's probably real. The rubsign is on the correct wing. On the knockoff it's on the left wing (from Swoop's perspective). On the original it's on the right wing. The Optimus might be real too. The gray border above the trailer is not as wide as it normally is on the knockoff. Many people don't know this, but the European release of Optimus sometimes came with a thin gray border similar to the one in the picture. I will ask him for a picture of the back of the item. If it has the oversized tech spec in multiple languages, then it is real.
Crikey, maybe I shouldn't have brought that to everyone's attention, the price will rocket for sure, hahahah. That box is soooooooooo minty though, can that really be original?
Other evidence that this is real: 1) One of the two stickers on the chest is gone and the other one looks like it might have a little edge wear. 2) I'm pretty sure the knockoff does not come with the red decoder 3) The knockoff comes with the toy catalog, not present in this auction.
I would avoid buying from this kind of sellers, check his buying history and you will see how many swoops he have bought. He also bought KO swoop box. It's very easy to buy things separately and selling them as a bundle(As the red decoder)
