Is this series worth picking up? Amazon has all three volumes for dirt cheap, and I'm thinking of pulling the trigger.

If it's the newer thick books from 2012 at the current 44% off, then sure.

Note some of KnightQuest is missing from Vol. 2 and if you care the Troika storyline. Debatable whether or not they're important, but I got through fine.

I jut wanted to check since the new books are superior because they collected all of Knightfall in one volume this time instead of the two they did about 10 years ago. I want to get these new volumes so I can finally get rid of the majority of my Knight's Quest issues. I think the only issues I have that it does not collect are the JL Task Force ones.

I remember seeing the first volume of the new books in a Barnes&Noble sometime last year, and I've been meaning to look into them. I've got one of the individual issues (cool cover), but I plan on getting the collected volumes some day.

It's good to know that the newer volumes are the ones to go for. Should make getting them, even if I wait till later this year, easier to do.

It's missing 8-issues from "The Search" arc: Justice League Task Force 5-6, Shadow of the Bat 21-23, and Legends of the Dark Knight 59-61

Also while not official (missing the Knightfall lettering on the cover): first half of Robin #1 and Catwoman #1

Without the 8 from the first paragraph, Robin #7 starts disjointed. I don't want to spoil in case OP has never read this, but I'm sure you know.

Wish we could get the Search collected, but thankfully they're not hard to find in dollar bins.

And yeah, The Knightfall saga is definitely worth it. It's the best and worst of the 90s all rolled into one.
