What the absolute frick. 2020 needs to stop. This dude (along with so many of the Ocean Group people) was an essential voice of my childhood.

 

Damn man. This really hits hard. I loved Ninjago. I actually wanted to maybe meet him one day.  

 

47 is too young. My sincerest condolences to his friends and family.

 

Cybertron was my first and is my favorite Transformers series, so this hits me hard. Never had a Hot Shot until the Generations Selects figure, who has been on my desk all week, coincidentally.

 

Armada and Micron Densetsu are my personal favorites. I feel you man.

 

I wanted to meet him too, I had the chance but thought I had plenty of time. F U 2020

I loved alot of his work, and grew up with his characters. Cole, Cyclops, and while I didn\'t see his version of Goku or him as Hotshot, I respect this man, for voicing most of the Canadian shows I watched. Rest in piece.

 

FUCK!!! We've now lost two Cyclops actors in one year, and one of those two also voiced one of my favorite Autobots! How did this even happen? The dude hadn't even hit 50 yet! Was it cancer? COVID-19? Heart problems? R.I.P. Kirby Morrow. Fuck 2020.

 

Before I even knew who Hot Rod and Bumblebee were, there was Hot Shot. In retrospect, he is a near-perfect amalgamation of the two. RIP.

Unicron Trilogy was my jam as a kid.  Armada in particular drew me in in a way RiD and Beast Machines didn\'t and Hot Shot has always been a favorite (especially Cybertron Hot Shot)
Shame to see him go.  Still fondly remember coming home from school and watching the latest episode of Cybertron on Kids WB.

 

I was hyped at the recent news that, despite the otherwise LA casting, the production crew for the English dub of Yashahime had indeed opted to bring on the Vancouver crew to reprise their roles from Inuyasha (and bringing back David Kaye, to boot, who was absent from Final Act's English Dub after he moved to the US to pursue work).

Only to be suddenly hit with this news.

My sincere condolences to his family. His voice was a huge part of my childhood and early anime discovery days, and his talent will sorely be missed.

 

Man. I tend to rewatch Cybertron eps from time to time, but this is gonna be tough if I ever do again now.

 

Man that’s unfortunate. He was one of the first people I noticed as a voice actor cause I recognised him both in Armada and Ninjago. Great performer he shall be missed.

I feel really dumb that I never realized his roles in the Unicron Trilogy was also the voice of Cole on Ninjago. A show I\'ve been watching since the very beginning. It really sucks.
