It's also frustrating when people cast judgement on a post without fully reading it, 'cause I just SAID that. ;)

I know this is a nitpick but I don't like how far the bug legs stick out from the body and the purple wings seem a little too much. However, that wasp head looks a little off like maybe it could also work as an ant head too. hmmm...

I still prefer the T30 one.
Wake me when they retool him into Inferno or Buzzsaw

I'm sticking with my Thrilling 30. No need to dump $20-25 on this.

I like the Thrilling 30 better, but I'd love to see the new one redone as Transquito (Chest isn't quite right for Venom...) Can also see this becoming Inferno if they decide to cut costs and skip having him larger....but then again we are gettign Cheetor and Tigatron at different sizes....

I lot of the bug-formers could probably work, especially when year one Beast Wars had maybe 2 transformation schemes: head on chest/head on back.
If it's a bug with the head on the chest, Hasbro can make it work.

They did that to Rattrap for a few reasons (in my mind at least). While he wasn't that small in the show he still "felt" the smallest out of the show cast. They also needed a prominent BW character in the core class and the deluxe spots were filled up.

I thought this line was supposed to be faithful to *actual* scale. "Feeling" smaller is not the same as being smaller.

Kinda wish it was a lighter shade of purple for the wings, but otherwise looks neat.

I hope this isn't real, the T30 looks much better. The bug legs on this are way too chunky. All of the paint looks off. They could just take T30, give him better articulation and thicker arms and call it a day.

Like Rhinox I prefer the T30 version. I would buy this recolored into Buzzsaw or remolded as Transquito though.

The insect legs and wings look unfinished, any chance they could just be prototypes?

Only thing real about this waspinator is the insult and injury of selling such a poor sculpt.

You guys can tell that Waspinator isn't transformed correctly in the chest since it splits in half, and it's especially clear in the second photo. If it's real, it's not bad. It actually gives him the correct colored eyes like the beast mode unlike the Thrilling 30th mold which got lazy with the eyes. Still, I think we need to wait for more photos if this is the real one

The main body is looking OK, but everything brown lets it down. Those insect legs and antenna are... awful, in sculpt, thickness and lack of detailing. Hopefully it's not the final version.

The Beetle toy from McDonald's has more sculpting on it's legs.
