You should have just ordered at any price. Amazon automatically lowers the price to the lowest possible all the way until it ships. Also you can cancel the order at ANY time. So the gameplan I'd suggest is just to get an Amazon order in. If the figure isn't good you have months to cancel the order.

I'm not saying the MP Cheetor isn't a great figure- it definitely is. I just think the design approach of Kingdom lends itself more easily to good toys. If Kingdom went for perfect cartoon accuracy, I doubt it would succeed as well as the MP has, but within its own aesthetic I think its generally been more streamlined and successful.

 

And put a spinner in it...

You seriously want a spinning gimmick to sacrifice all the awesomeness we got? That you even dare mention it.. ask yourself, what else would you be willing to sacrifice for a childish play factor. I agree it would be fun, but it's not worth it. I'd prefer this awesome figure we got over one with less articulation, smaller, mode kibble in raptor mode or an unsatisfying chest. Just think about it. You complain so much about these figures. Are you sure you want any more things to dislike?

 

Awesomeness? Not with this figure.

We're talking about iconic weaponry. Prime gets an Ion Blaster. Megs gets a Fusion Cannon. But Dinobot's iconic weapons (both of them) on this figure are far from awesome.

Ah, I thought that the blue was referring to all of it. Also, I thoughr that Turbomasters were G1.5 or whatever it's called, not G2.

 

Optimus gets an Ion Blaster.
Megatron gets a Fusion Cannon.
Dinobot gets a Cyber Slash Weapon.

None of them work.

 

None of them are functioning, the guns dont shoot and dinobots whateveritis doesnt spin.

I'm gonna have to agree with you there. I recently got my UT figures out of storage to display them & it really made me miss gimmicks in TFs. It seems like between the US government making everything remotely dangerous (toywise) illegal & companies wanting to charge out the ass for accessories those days are long gone though...

 

From what I recall, & I maybe wrong, that was a kickstarter-like campaign that has ended

 

One of them could, but it doesn't, and that's a bit of a shame.
