They released Kingdom Wave 2 early at Isetan NEX in Singapore!!! Managed to get Dinobot! AAAAAAA!!!

Looks great! The tail backpack kinda sucks, but I think I'll live with it. Gonna defiantly shave that dildo looking thing at the end of his sword though.

 

He looks freaking awesome!

Well, he’ll only spend about two minutes in beast mode. Very unfortunate raptor that just looks lifeless. But the robot mode is an absolute gem.

 

I'm still hoping for a later release in more toon accurate colors....because that bot mode is so freaking plain...

All those details are just begging for paint apps.

 

I can totally see that parts of his robot mode chest are on his Dino mode thighs. You should post this on the feedback forum.

@Actar how essential are the beast hands to the transformation? Obviously they tab in, but would robot mode still hold together well enough without them?

Wonder if that design element will be a limiting director for 3P options.

Honestly, I think the hands are pegged in to secure the hands, not the chest. The chest is really solid.

 

Pretty cool.

All these BW figures look like they'll be fun to paint up as a little side project.

I've moved away from doing that lately, but these look like the perfect canvas for adding some minor details that will go SUCH A LONG WAY.

For example, some Tamiya Gold Leaf on the ribs around the legs of bot mode would make this figure POP. That's a simple beginner level paint project too.

I originally wrote these off because I'm all in on the MP BW figures, but having these as a fun side project to work on is right up my alley.

And Deinonychus face/head... if we're going "JP Raptor" then let's go all in. Vertical pupils, curved teeth...

As others have pointed out, he's an independently strong warrior in beast mode as well. You know, because he can watch his own @$$. 

 

He just re-lived Code of Hero.
