Might want to watch a Transformation video of this guy. The trailer assembly isn't really compatible with... Anything.

I would also like to know which breaks of red you used. About to start painting my wip.

Nice. I'm very mixed on this toy. One of my concerns was that I preferred the face without the aviators, so thank you for addressing that. I was thinking about getting this version and trimming away the rail pieces in vehicle mode to make the trailer more open like the original. Do you think this would actually work though? I'm especially worried about potentially cutting through metal pins with a hobby saw.

I think the Red I used was Wazdakka Red by Games Workshop, then a Vallejo Matt Varnish over it to match the Matt look of the chest.

I like the blue windows to be honest, though if someone else tried that I'd like to see it.

I specifically mentioned in some of my other comments that I did paint the white circles but it looked really weird so I painted over them with the Red.

I don't know how well that would work, I think it would severely impact the way in which the trailer is held together in Vehicle mode.

A hobby saw will probably become blunt if you tried sawing through pins, I learnt that the hard way, pair of strong pliers normally have a cutting bit on them, or there are pliers specifically designed for cutting metal.

I had the same idea and then I photoshopped it and it looked absolutely horrible. It needs a "floor" to make it look good.

I’m sorry. I wasn’t trying to be rude.

Ohhh sorry no harm no foul! I re-read my reply and I definitely sounded blunt, didn't mean to, was a rushed response before I went to work.

But yeah, I didn't think it looked too great, maybe it was the paint I'd used?

    All good.

    Did you take a pic?

I plan on doing it to mine and now I need to see it before I commit.

Painting over the red on his shins and painting his face white where the first things I did when I got mine.

Sick edit, I dig the look actually

Disregarding the flooring problem, would cutting the unpinned bars help make it look any better?

I always thought his face was gray and antenna white.

This looks really good... I'm sure someone can make a parts forming false floor out of styrene sheet or someone can come up with one via Shapeways.

His chin is grey. His face is white.

This won't work because it wouldn't leave enough room for cars to actually sit in the space after you lay the groundwork for the floor.

I don’t see his face and antenna as the same hue.
