Yeah, pretty much. I kinda chalk it up to the executive producer trying way to hard to be an autuer type. He wants to come across as an eccentric creator like Orson Welles or Frank Zappa. Too bad you can't just force that kind of thing, no matter how "deep" and "artistic" you try to make yourself, or your work, seem.
Wow. This is more than I expected. I expected them to sunset all G1 appearances and re-hash beast wars completely. Very nice. Looks like Unicron / Galvatron back too. Ready for it.
Sadly, based on the first 2 series there’s about a 0.7% chance of this not sucking. I did notice (and this could just be how they cut the trailer) the character animations look less stilted then the first 2 series where they had an almost marionette or stop motion quality (quite unintentionally I’d imagine)
i can't wait to see the last autobot. he is my only Kingdom toy that i preorder. so far and i can't wait. to see him i like what they did in the trailer with him. at first i didn't reconize him thoguht he was unicron and then i saw the Picture. i went back and watch it and i was like that is not unicron. that is the last autobot.
i also want to know how megs got the matrix. you can see he got it around his neck. kinda like galvatron had in in g1 movie well kinda
Which sucks because Megatron's VA was amazing for the Prime Wars cartoon. The voice director just fucking sucks
Oh my god! Astrotrain is actually in this! He looks way shorter than he did in his two second appearance in Siege.
I notice that the figures released in the spoiler boxes (Ultra Magnus, Nemesis Prime, and Megs) are heavily involved in the final battle in Kingdom. I’m guessing each has a significant contribution to how the story is told. But we will see.
There's a couple stray lines in the trailer that I feel like might be BW Megs and I'm not too enthused we'll get even that xD
Looks like this will be the best chapter yet! Not saying much about the rest of the series I know, but so far I'm actually looking forward to part 3.
I watched Earthrise and I don't even remember this happening. I'm not sure if that says more about me or Earthrise.
